Great Video! When I was a kid I mostly watched the show on the videotapes that I had, and still have of the show and also I watched some of the episodes as part of Shining Time Station. My favorite season is season 4, followed by 2 and 3. Trains have always been a big part of my life. As I have gotten older other things have came along that took up bigger parts of it but I am still into trains. My dad who is a railfan and model railroader got me into it. What I like about season 1 other than what you mentioned in your video is that I like how everything just flows together and it feels like you have to watch every episode in order like you would read a storybook and that really does fit in with its storybook style. My favorite episodes from season 1 are Trouble for Thomas, Thomas Saves the Day, The Flying Kipper, and James in a Mess. My least favorite season 1 episode is A Big Day for Thomas. I like the industrial style of season 2. My favorite episode of season 2 is Edward's Exploit. Some of my other favorites for season 2 are Old Iron, Percy Takes the Plunge, and Donald and Douglas. I am not a big fan of A New Friend for Thomas even though it is not a bad episode. I the style of season 3 but not as much as seasons such as 2, 4, and 5. My favorite season 3 episodes are Percy's Promise, Thomas, Percy and the Mail Train, All At Sea, Percy, James and the Fruitful Day, and Diesel Does It Again. My least favorite episodes for season 3 are Thomas Gets Bumped, Trust Thomas, and Edward, Trevor and the Really Useful Party. I love season 4 for how beautiful the sets look, the episodes, and the overall vibe of the season. My favorite Season 4 episodes are Four Little Engines, Special Funnel, Gallant Old Engine, Bowled Out, Thomas Meets the Queen, Toad Stands By, and Fish. I am not a fan of Grandpuff and Sleeping Beauty on their own but together they are great episodes. My least favorite episode of season 4 is an episode that I actually liked when I was a kid, Rusty to the Rescue, I thought that they could have just introduced Stepney in the following episode in a similar manner to the railway series. I am not also a big fan of the episode Thomas and the Special Letter, I liked it a lot when I was a kid but now I am not really into it. I find season 5 to be the most overrated season. I do not like how the realism of earlier seasons started to disappear. I do love the visual style and the humor of this season. Some of my favorite season 5 episodes are Horrid Lorry, James and the Trouble with Trees, Something in the Air, and Duncan Gets Spooked. My least favorite season 5 episode is Gordon and the Gremlin. Season 6 really went downhill compared to the first few seasons but I still like some of the episodes like Salty's Secret, Gordon Takes a Tumble, and A Bad Day for Harold. My least favorite season 6 episode is Rusty Saves the Day. As far as the narration goes, season 6 was the worst of it of the classic seasons. Season 7 was definitely an improvement over season 6. I actually was not really into season 7 but recently I watched all of the episodes in the span of a few days and I like it a lot more. Season 7 felt very balanced among which characters had their own episodes this year, most characters got at least one episode to themselves. My favorite season 7 episodes are the ones that focused on the new characters such as The Spotless Record and Something Fishy for Arthur and Gordon and Spencer with Spencer and some other great episodes such as Hooray for Thomas. I thought that the narrow gauge episodes were complete duds, except for The Runaway Elephant, which was decent. I actually consider The Grand Opening to be the worst narrow gauge season 7 episode. The Old Bridge gets too much hate, it is not that bad. As far as the season 7 music, for some episodes and characters I prefer Mike and Junior, some I prefer Robert Hartshorne. As far as narrators throughout the series, George Carlin is my favorite.

What makes Toby pop is that he isn't your standard old character. He's an agent of chaos. Thomas and Percy always were fighting in the books and Toby just watched with interest. If this was Edward he'd try to intervene, but not Toby. He also doesn't choose sides. In Ghost Train, he helps Percy with pretending he's a ghost to scare Thomas, while in Woolly Bear he joins Thomas in laughing at Percy. He also doesn't give a damn about what others think of him. He doesn't care that James is mocking him. Instead he jokes about his bootlace incident. When Mavis gets stuck on the crossing, Toby refuses to help her. And in the books you can see that crossing Mavis is at, is very close to Toby. He's the type to leave bumbling buffoons to learn from their mistakes and laugh at them in their misfortune. In the RWS, he and Percy are also depicted as best friends. Percy sees him as a father/grandfather like figure. Also in the books, Toby is one of only three characters Thomas respects. He gained that after scaring the constable that got Thomas in trouble. (Edward and The Fat Controller are the other two he respects) These factors are why Toby is my favourite character.

I can't speak on that, since I don't have much experience with the UK Dubs aside from a few episodes of Season 7. So I would need to listen to the UK Dubs at somepoint.
I don't like Donald & Douglas in Twin Trouble of Season 6 because of them hating each other after an accident and it doesn't make sense either - to me anyways. Also I say Donald was right. Douglas actually pushed him into the hay cart because his had his brakes on. So Douglas was the idiot.

The US Dubs are a personal prefrence, but I do wince a little hearing Micheal Brandon do Emily's New Coaches, sicne New Friends for Thomas had Micheal Angelis. But it's not the worst thing in the world.
I respectfully disagree with some points, season 5 never seemed like a big deal to me, it didn't say it was a bad season....but simply every time I watch it I don't see the BOOM that people say, on the other hand the Seasons 6-7 do if I consider them to be the peak of Thomas in the classic era (and my favorite seasons of the classic era)

It's my headcanon that Percy or Toby eventually told Duck the ending of the story.
