    Ossss , I like how knight shines the importance of how to apply BJJ in self defence, while allot of schools only work on the sport aspect of the martial art. Knight is an OG

    I am 47 years old and I am a big fan of jiu jitsu. I follow your videos from faraway Italy. I really want to congratulate you Eli for the competence and excellent clarity in teaching on a technical level jiu jitsu...... Ciao

    • @KnightJiuJitsu
      @KnightJiuJitsu  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, there is a lot of self defense in the course. In total, around 170 videos, and apps half or more are self defense - www.martialartsdigitalseminars.com/Jiu-Jitsu-Deep-Dive

    Nice... What make you chose between an hip throw takedown and a knee tap body fold takedown? Is it the energy he gives to you?

    • @KnightJiuJitsu
      @KnightJiuJitsu  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. It’s always the energy of the opponent that dictates. Otherwise it’s forced and inefficient.

    That's not pure BJJ, it has an elements of Judo

    • @KnightJiuJitsu
      @KnightJiuJitsu  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There’s not really such thing as pure BJJ. Judo came from Ju-Jutsu and BJJ came from Judo / Jiu-Jitsu. Ultimately, it doesn’t really matter anymore.
