But as much as i like and respect him, he should have had more championships, had a knack for getting in his own way.
Let’s be real here. Kenneth changed NASCAR cuz of his lack of wins in 2003 whilst also winning the cup for that season. Due to that, NASCAR made the Chase for the Cup the next season and NASCAR has gone downhill since
NASCAR did not really use this specifically as the main reason for the playoff implementation, but this definitely, among criticisms from other people as well, is what accelerated the implementation.

Matt was one of the best drivers of all time! And he was a clean racer and has class to boot. Also he always refused to kiss NASCAR's butt!!
