      @@GDCridesMTB Ace, thanks, i've done quite a few hikes around the peaks and e-mountain biking is something i'm looking into at the moment and i could see myself exploring the peaks on an E-MTB, what year is your bike, does it use the Yamaha motor or bosh system? thanks again

      @@MentalAboutOutdoors it's has the Yamaha pwx3 motor and a 720w battery.it definitely flattens the climbs in the peaks that's for sure

    Hi, great video, I'm ouckimg up my first ebike in two weeks and I'm going to be mainly riding in the Pesk District, mine will have a 750wh battery, how much battery/range did you have left after your 28 miler and also what road and where abouts do you come out, at the end of your final descent?

      @@scottunderwood3481 cheers for watching,on this particular ride with a 720w battery I had about 10 miles range left on the display but the reality is you would probably get about 5 due to the terrain.Most I've done in the peaks is 35 miles with 5700ft elevation.lots of variables to take into account eg,pace, climbs,battery temp, tyre pressures all effect the range.As for the final descent that was the screening mile which drops you out onto the road that goes around the ladybower dam near fairholmes.I linked the ride in the description to Strava so feel free to have a look at that and give me a follow if you want to look at other peak district rides or if you want any more info👍

      @GDCridesMTB Thanks for the very helpful insight, if i can get low 30s in the Peaks, I'll be very happy. Cheers.👍

      @@scottunderwood3481 you should be able to get low 30s but depends on how you ride.If you blast everywhere in turbo etc it's great but won't last all day.I ride mine in the lowest mode I'm happy with only turning it up when I really need too.I like to try to extend the ride as much as possible

      Ill be in eco as much as possible and like you say, just turn it up when i need it. Whats the genetal rule of thumb for riding in the Peaks, do most riders stick soly to the Bridleways or do folk just ride any trail and footpath at their own discretion?r@@GDCridesMTB

      @GDCridesMTB  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @scottunderwood3481 I'd say most rides are a mix of bridleways, footpaths byways with a few non marked trails along the way.Best places to look are Strava heatmaps,komoot,specific groups on Facebook etc
