Kinkakuji - the Golden Temple in Kyoto, but wait what is that?

Kinkakuji in Kyoto, better known as “the golden temple” or “the golden pavilion” is one of Japan's famous sights. A must-visit for any photographer as the temple, overlooking a perfect mirror lake is one photo you want to take when in Kyoto!
But there is more to see when you visit, and well, sometimes you might be in town when there are some constructions done. So the question is, will it still be worth going in? Well, it is a definite yes from me! I almost decided not to visit, because of it. I am very glad I did....

I hope you get to show Kinkaku-ji without the scaffolding in the future! Now I want to go back and try the tea house as I obviously missed it when I visited in 2016. Really cool vid as usual

Yes, definately worth going back! I would love to see in in the snow like on the postcard they gave me, but that hardly happens, well fingers crossed🤞
