This video saved my arse and a lot of $. I'm no handyman, but this video allowed me to "fix" our oven by replacing the fan. Replacement part came in few days, got it all hooked up, and it works like a charm, almost silently. Just in time for my wife to bake a birthday cake for my Dad and I. Thanks for making this video. What would cause staining around the blower fan motors?
The staining was more noticeable on the lower fan motor and actually ran vertically down the inside of the back panel and left a small stain on the floor.
Would operation of the steam cleaning cycle cause this to happen?
Fans seem to operate normally so far.
Any tips if the nut wont unscrew? I am turning clockwise, but when I look at the motor, it looks like the nut is turning with the shaft, even if I hold the fan still.

Troubles screwing back fan
Great video but I noticed that you selected "Bake" and not "Conv. Bake" yet your fan came on anyways. I thought the fan would only work for convection cooking. What would be the reason for that? (Mine is not working regardless of what it press lol).
Your guess is as good as mine. The extend of my knowledge was my fan broke and I needed to fix it before the wife made me buy a whole new unit! ;)
@@GuidingBoltGaming LOL...I hear you. I was getting a good resistance reading off the fan and voltage to it. I'm assuming it's bearing related. I applied a drop of machine oil to it and it's working for now but for how long - who knows? Thanks again.
It comes on during preheat no matter the selection. It STAYS on during convection bake.

Lol, don't know what to say other than it came that way.. =P I did pick up the set from a scratch and dent store though, so who knows what kind of tom foolery could have occurred.
It’s an old three prong - grounding through neutral. It’s an acceptable install via the Samsung manual (3 or 4 prong).
You know that's a warming drawer and not a storage drawer, right? :)
Yup! However, it will only ever be used for storage haha! =P
On page 52 of my manual it calls it a storage drawer.
