I used to attend a private painting class with Mr. Boy Sagario back in the 90’s in Casa Gorordo. We also held our art exhibit there. Those were priceless memories back in the day. I bought my paintings here in the US with me. Everytime I look at those paintings it brings back happy memories. Thank you Maam for your videos!!💕

Before I was young we used to play in that place and it was I realized when I'm in my 20's that on how priceless the place is. There are three historical places that are from Parian to Bonifacio via Zulieta. In Bonifacio street, you can see the Casa Gorordo and in Zulieta you see the oldest bridge that is still serving the motorist!

Yes, That house was there but I wish you showed the “fire station” in Parian which is the center cross section of the streets going Sikatuna, Bonifacio, Espana, Lopez Jaena and Colon, if I remember correctly. My parents used to owned a house there facing the fire station and that small park in the center. Our neighbor was Mr. Sterling who owned a bar in the corner of Espana and Sikatuna? There was even Cebu City Hospital (public hospital) at the northern end of Colon. I’m taking about the late 1950s and early 1960s. Thank you for featuring this area it brings back memories of my early years.

Pls go to Malabuyoc Cebu, there are houses built during spanish period, our ancestral homes where my lolo's and lola' s once live there, its along town road hindi masyado well preserve but if the town mayor got an idea and do few patch up works outside and inside of the house for attractions of local and foreign tourists then it would be nice perhaps additonal income to local treasury, right?....youre welcome !!!

Thanks for featuring this historical landmark. There's only one thing that I need to point out. You keep referring to the ornate furnitures / fixtures as "Spanish" style which they are not. Those ornate and elaborate woodcarvings are native / indigenous craftsmanship. Let's endeavor to give credit where credit is due.

One of the most interesting videos I can relate to. Don't worry about the local homeless problems in Cebu. In downtown San Francisco Ca. we have thousands of homeless living in tents. If you are not careful you can step on fresh tae and ehe! It is no longer a crime to steal items less than $950 of value from stores. If you are an old Asian you are going to be killed by recently released prisoners. We are trying to recall our governor due to double standards. Newsom can eat at expensive restaurants while we can't eat anywhere in SF.

USC was the oldest school and UST was the oldest university.
