Your explanations are really simple and its good that you follow what you preach.Aa i remember you said once if you can make a 6 year old understand it means you understood
Yes but only if you know and have the experience of doing what an Agile Coach does. Just yesterday I wrote a post about it on Winning Strategy vibhorchandel.com/p/what-does-an-agile-coachcoach
I hear your argument, but then if that be the case - what do we have different level of Scrum Masters? i.e. Junior Scrum Master, Scrum Master, Snr Scrum Master & Lead Scrum Scrum & in the same organisation have Agile Coach Snr Agile Coach & Lead Agile Coach?
Good question Olufemi. Every company has its own way of managing employee compensation. These Junior/Senior prefixes are just your company's way to decide how much they will be paid depending on the experience they have.
Olu! Looks like we stumbled upon the same LinkedIn post? :) Exactly what Vibhor said...I am a fan of the levels as it does help with setting expectations and aligning on career growth. Also a great tool for salary compensation reviews etc. Although I prefer the titles/levels to be more on the back end and not something publicly displayed as a title, if that makes sense.
Hi Vibhor, Can you please help me to decide which certification should I go with if I want job in Europe and UK. Should I go with Prince2 agile or scrum master.
Hi Reshma. I am not in Europe so my suggestion will be limited. Here's what I can say about certifications in general. It doesn't matter which cert. you get. It's mostly HR who looks at it and most of the time they have no idea what the cert is about. The hiring managers they don't care about certifications. They will test you on experience.
I dont remember where I hear someone explaining: "the difference between SM and AC is how much people you coach". What do you think about that? Im really interested about your oppinion.
As per your last statement... "What if you are Both?". When and How can a SM/PO/RTE can tells his organization that I am an Agile Coach now after 5 years of working in this role; As there is no special qualification or experienced required for a Agile Coach?
@@VibhorChandel thanks for your reply. I’d love to be part of it. Looking forward for that. Apart from that , in short term , I’m looking for some immediate guidance. Is there anything that you could do on that note ? Thanks Siva.
Vibhor, yoúr explanations are very much clear. Question is, can a same person act as both Scrum master and Agile Coach? In many job descriptions, they ask Scrum master and Agile Coach to be a single person.

You don't tell them. You express your desire to be an Agile Coach so the next time they hire they consider you.
Great Video. Is there any way that I can reach you out for consultation/coaching/mentoring?
Thank you Siva. I am in the middle of creating a cohort based mentorship program. I'll let you know once it's ready.

My company only has agile champion.
Aren't we underestimating adults to a child, when some times 30+ years of individuals are in a team.
Indian accent lol
Proud of it.
