    Hello all! Just to let you know that I got the colour wrong - it's Ice Greyish Blue Metallic with Cosmic Black Pearl Metallic Roof! Thanks to @Paul Finnan for the catch.

    Great video and nice to see a video that doesn’t go into great detail about the torque and other stuff but gave an honest review from a female perspective. Any chance you can do a review on the Suzuki s cross in the very near future.

    Think the colour is actually called icy blue grey or in Europe marble blue. The turquoise is completely different, it’s a deeper ‘shiny” blue. Know this because I got mine a couple of months ago. Like your presentation style and format 😀

    What about the automated gearbox, I've heard it's of the robotised variety and it's got some issues.

    • @PlanetautoUK
      @PlanetautoUK  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi Eleni - it's basically a manual gearbox that's been automated. It's pretty good 95% of the time, and I had no problems driving it. For that other 5% - say in Sport Mode - it's not quite as fluid as it needs time to decide which gear it wants to use.
      We've got a full review coming soon which has a driving section, going into more detail about the transmission. I will pin a link here when it's live.
      Best bet is to test drive one, and let me know how you get on.
      Thanks for watching! Annabelle

      Steer clear of automated manuals!They are fitted to save money,but a traditional auto or dct are much better, although at low speed a dct can lunge forward/backwards,but otherwise more modern and efficient.

    You should note if you are tall(6'+),don't go for sunroof,or you'll need to wear a cushion on your head!
    Touch screen still looks outdated (come on Suzuki,it's 2022!)
    Dash again looks old fashioned with conventional dials.
    Hard plastics in cabin (although hard wearing and easy to clean)
    Not keen on stick out rear light clusters.
    All in all not a bad buy for money and will be reliable,but still a bit niche and doesn't have a wow factor to compete with other main competitors!

    • @PlanetautoUK
      @PlanetautoUK  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ben was fine at 6ft 3, it’s improved on the previous gen, bottom line, it didn’t need to change, the majority of its market wouldn’t even notice, hard plastics, infotainment as long as it’s responsive and has the desired functionality and many prefer analogue. As for design, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I guess what I’m trying to say is that most women just won’t care about the touchscreen if it works, and this one does, and if their husband will be be comfortable in it, which he was. Ben looks at a car in a completely different way to me - and all of my female friends - that’s why I see a need for reviewing cars differently. Hard plastics are not something that bothers me, but knowing I can adjust the seatbelt height makes all the difference in the world. Most men would get in and not even notice! *Annabelle

    • @BobFlocker
      @BobFlocker 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      At least the infotainment system is easy to replace with aftermarket, unlike vehicles that have a screen floating above the dash and as many functions as possible routed through it.
