I moved into a house with like 20 of these installed, along with motion and glass break sensors. They were linked to a previous lyric controller that the last owner took with them. I purchased a new lyric controller thinking I would be able to pretty easily reprogram them, but it seems the “hold down the button and put in the battery” procedure only works within the first 24 hours? Do you know if there’s a way to make use of all the sensors I have with my new controller?

Yes, the Lyric system is HomeKit compatible and once Apple approves the firmware that will unlock the functionality, you'll be able to firmware update an existing Lyric system to one that supports HomeKit.
Justino, No, the SiXCT will not work with the Vista-21iP. It is a new type of encrypted wireless sensor, and the 21iP doesn't have a receiver that supports it, at least not yet.
