I freaking love this camera! I’ve owned mine for about 3 months now and it has been giving me justice! I actually sold my Sony a7iii for the a6700 mainly for the video specs but even tho I went from full frame to apsc you honestly can’t even tell the difference in most scenarios. Yes it does only have a 1 card slot so there’s no way to back up any footage but I’ve already done plenty of professional work with my a6700 as my main camera and I never ran to any issues. For sure it’s a risk especially when working with big clients or shooting a wedding. Usually you need more than one camera with those type of gigs. So the risk level varies on how big or small the gig is. In my experience I never ran to any issues. I’m using a Sony tough card so of course that does play a role of feeling more confident that I won’t run into any card corruption issues so choose your sd cards wisely. Still you’ll hear stories of photographers/videographers who’ve never had a card corrupt and some who’ve had. So take that as you will. Nonetheless the Sony a6700 is a powerhouse in a small body!! I definitely recommend it for all types of shooters!!🙌🏼📸🎥

HA ouch!
Overheats like crazy, at least in my weather. WOULD NOT recommend! Camera is great though
May I know which country you live, and did you update the last firmware already? I'm consider to buy this camera
@@butlertie Puerto Rico, tropical weather. For around that price you can get a used Panasonic S5II body ($1300-$1500) plus you get 6k open gate, Full Frame, better IBIS and no overheating.
P.S. Firmware won't add a Fan to the camera.
Are you wearing lipstick? Change that in the LUT!!!
Chill dude, it’s pride month!
😂😂😂😂😂
A6700 has an overheating problem in asia
why is the footage so washed out and awful before the color grading?
Its called a LOG picture profile. You film very flat to retain more dynamic range and flexibility in post to grade it.
@@TeppoHaapoja many thanks. Was worried that was the default quality for those of us not doing post processing
No way! It’s not been a year yet.😂
Hahaa 11 months ;)
@@TeppoHaapoja Right! I bought mine two months ago, I hope Sony dont drop another APSC body this year or atleast for another 3 years, I dont wanna keep falling into that rabbit hole. cos i'm very likely to. Great Video Still!
I will never buy another Sony cropped sensor camera until they make a proper Stacked Sensor one.
Can you please explain your reasoning? I've been making a nice photo/video living from my Sony APS-C cameras for several years...what am I missing?
@@quirkworks4076 well, he did say "another" so i guess he already has a sony apsc and doesn't see enough improvement to buy a new one until they add a stacked sensor
Maybe in 2027
Get ready to shell money for that.
@@quirkworks4076for it would be rolling shutter
What a lazy demonstration, either do it right or don't do it at all, its not like someone is forcing you
