I REALLY appreciate that you continued to do rows - even though they were repetitions of previous rows. I needed the extra (continual) support. Thank you very much for your clear instructions.

This stitch definitely keeps my mind off the troubles of this crazy world. Actually a fun stitch once I wrapped my brain around it! Thanks!

I am so thrilled to see someone who holds and feeds the yarn the same way that I do! Every American youtuber that I see extends the index finger with the yarn wrapped over it. I use my thumb and index finger to hold the work as I pull through it and the yarn feeds through my hand. Just like this. And my stitches are nice and tight like this. I thought I was a weirdo. But I was taught by my Grandmother who was British, so maybe that's why. Thanks for the tutorial!

The stress of COVID-19 has sent me away from academic or ministerial work and out on the patio crocheting as a form of active meditation. I realized my shortage of yarn and my need to represent this "Lock-Down" time imposed in Elder-Respectful Ecuador most rigidly on those over 60 year of age. I wanted something positive. I began asking for left-over yarn from friends. Now, I'm nearly done making a lap-robe in the style of an embroidery sampler. I have "Grannie-Style Squares" of Celtic knots, Celtic Crosses, Pentangles, and then the rest are simply exploring other options that in 61 years of crocheting (I am 73) I've never tried. This is by far the hardest for my old fingers, but may be the most beautiful. When you said, "It's a bit of a fit now!" I laughed harder than I had in years. Bless You....

YOU DO quite an excellent job, Laura, visually and explanatory.
I’m thinking what small practical item I can make short of a blanket. I must try this as a long-term project and on my next airline trip. Thank you, love you.

I'm 59 and was taught to crochet by age 10 by crocheting fancy borders on ALL my mother's (and other relatives) wash cloths. And I had to make them all different and this was with that tiny cotton thread. So I've had a love/hate relationship with crochet most of my life. But I had a revelation today with your video - I NEED something complicated like this to be interesting! I need unusual! Thank you SO much! Gotta run order some yarn and dig out my crochet hooks!

I had bought some yarn with the intention of making my self a piece, which I had in mind, but it din't work out for that stitch. And I found this one. I have tried this stitch before from others, but it was done differently. This one had the look I wanted and I'm making the back of a cardigan now with this stitch. I'm absolutely loving how easy it is, and still keeps me on my toes with my attention, which is one of the aspects I love about crocheting. :) Thank you for making this recording! I appreciate the gentleness of your weaving and the personal touch you added when you explained it. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you've got in your collection ;)

Hope you get it well sorted soon.

I'm back for a refresher. 😂 You probably won't see this but you taught me this stitch a couple years ago and I actually got it. Now, I want to use this stitch to make a big fluffy robe so I came back to you to refresh my memory. You were one of the first channels that I started watching and I learned a lot from you. I follow lots of other channels now but I come back to you first when I can't remember something. So, thanks for all the help over the years and I hope to learn a lot more. See you soon. I wish you much peace, love, and happiness.✌🏻💐🐾🧵🇺🇸

Although I'm nearly 60, from Ireland, living in England, crocheting a very long time and used to British crochet terminology, the American terminology actually makes more sense to me now, e.g. US single crochet = yarn through 1 group of 2, double crochet = you're pulling yarn through 2 groups of 2 , treble= 3 groups of 2..etc, etc..maybe it just that I've watched so many US crochet channels that it just stuck in my brain!

Have to say, the back post row is so much easier if you can put your ambidextrous hat on and with right side facing work from left to right in the front posts. This way you can see what you are doing. Lovely pattern though and explained really well, thank you for sharing.

This is by far the easiest explanation of how to do the Celtic Weave I have ever experienced and I have been crocheting for a long time.. Thank you ever so much!!! Let's see how many stitches would need to be for a baby blanket. I'm thinking a few more than the usual because the Celtic pattern scrunches up somewhat in design.
