I saw many a bands back in the 1980's and I have to say they were hands down one of the best live bands I had seen during that time. Really really good musicians and Michael Sweets' vocals were stellar as usual. The tour was To Hell With the Devil. Had a great time. =o)
There is some high irony in doing the devil horns while listening to Styper (though that may just be force of habit for listening to a metal band). However, a good portion of them are actually doing the "I love you" sign--i.e. pointer, pinkies, and THUMB out (which is much more fitting) They do bring a very refreshingly positive message to the genre.

very good christain band.... this song can prove to anti-christain rock skeptics that certain bands can make rock or any music true to god... thats what they wanted to do... but they did it the popular way..... listen to the song backwards and it has a good christain message and its good to remember it.
People used that symbol at concerts where the bands glorified Satan, and there was a band that started it that said they were using it to glorify Satan. BUT, most people who use it don't have the intention of glorifying Satan, they just use it to mean rock on! It depends on your mindset.

Oz is so freakin kool, awesome pipes and guitar shredder. Michael Sweet hits those really high notes though. Really talented.
