Tim wrote this arrangement when he was just 19. He had sung it with several groups before coming to Home Free. But this is the only time it was actually recorded and it was made for Home Free as a group to sing this and bring Tim's arrangement to fruition. Looking forward to more Home Free reactions. I would suggest Mary Did You Know and Do You Hear What I Hear sometime soon.
Original Christmas songs from these guys: Full of Cheer, Cold Hard Cash, Snow Globe, there’s more, but I can’t remember the rest. Oh, they also do Auld Lang Syne (New Year’s Eve song).
You really need to check out Do You Hear What I Hear. It is the best I've ever heard. Also check out Tim Foust originals Full of Cheer and Snow Globe. Merry Christmas. 🎄
I recommend listening to "O Holy Night" as done by southern rock icons 38 Special from their album "A Wild Eyed Christmas Night". Don Barnes delivers an unexpectedly beautiful vocal rendition.
Excellent reaction as always. You absolutely have to do two original Home Free songs for Christmas they are both amazing and hilarious. One is "Snow Globe which was written by Tim and the other one is "Cold Hard Cash" which was written by Austin. Both songs deserve radio play at Christmas. Tim shows off his max range on the high end in Snow Globe and you won't be able to contain yourself during Cold Hard Cash. I can see Sam falling out of her chair from laughter during "Cold Hard Cash". "I certainly did".
When you have 5 beautiful voices and a reverent song, Home Free brings you perfection in 5 part harmony. They stick to a fairly traditional presentation, but with their sprinkling of dissonance chords and bell tones to make it new all over again.
This one is so beautiful with Tim and Austin’s solos, still with Chris who is great with his harmony along with Rob and Adam gets to sing on this one!!❤ All the baby faces, especially Austin, so adorable!🥰. I love that they used this church which is so heavenly, great for the acoustics for this type of song, I am sure. There is another Christmas song they did in this same church too! They are sooo talented!🔥🔥 Glad you love them too, looking forward to seeing you react to more of them!!🏡🍟. Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas y'all. Just to let you know that #HomeFree does a beautiful rendition of "Auld Lang Syne." It is just harmony heaven and a great choice for New Years Eve. 🎉☀
Sorry, no pyrotechnics in this video, just spectacular vocals, and a respectful calming warm Christmas-time feeling. They did an awesome job on this. Thanks for reacting and happy holidays!
This song was my first introduction to Home Free--and they've been my favorite musicians ever since! Love it when these guys voice the bell tones🔔 Besides the unbelievable harmonies--and gorgeous church backdrop--getting to hear Adam Rupp's sweet tenor actually singing is a real treat ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #HomeFree #HomeFreeDoesChristmasBest #AdamRuppSinging
Tim, the bass, arranged this song when he was 19. Pretty impressive. Love the bell tones and the descending notes too. Loved the song and the setting. It’s a church in Mankato Minnesota (where the band was formed). Good one B & B. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! 😄😍
One of their best! All 4 major a cappella froups do amazing versions of this. It's impossible for ME to pick a favorite... they're all so good! Love Tim's opening. Great choice for a reaction!!
Lovely reaction, the reason this is my absolute favorite version is that even though they display their amazing vocals, they allow the song to remain the focus. This song is so beautiful in its classic simplicity that lots of 'tricks' just take away.
I listen to this particular song all year long.... it's the ONLY Christmas song I listen to any time other than Christmas and the only version I listen to. Merry Christmas!
Wasn't that fantastic? The best version I have heard. No theatrics, no one showing off, no "see how powerfully I can belt this out", just 5 voices raised in song. The bell tones, the falling "falls", Tim's gorgeous mellow start and Austin's ringing ending...as close to perfection as any recording of O Holy Night I have seen.
Great reaction! Their song "Angels We Have Heard on High" gives this one a run for it's money, I think it's actually better than this one, It's also in a church so the acoustics are amazing! ^.^
I will have to respectfully disagree with you. I would have loved it regardless because their voices are so good yet so different. Merry Christmas. 🎄🎄🎄
Let me add a vote for Do you Hear What I Hear! A stunning arrangement. Thanks for your reaction. Merry Christmas!
Home Free, the best of the very best!! No one better! Tim's arrangement is magical
Was written in 1843
Their best is Do You Hear What I Hear, one of the best videos period 😊 Christmas or not Christmas
I could listen to Home Free singing Christmas songs all day. You need to listen to more of their Christmas songs.
You must do "Do You Hear What I Hear" Absolutely stunning, incredible arrangement by Adam Rupp. One of their best! Thanks guys and Merry Christmas.
You need to hear Snow Globe and Full of Cheer!

#TimFoust #HomeFree #Christmas
Would add Christmas in L.A. if you want a real contemporary pop song that has a groove. The guys just released it 1-2 weeks ago.
"Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" Home Free's collaboration with Jeffrey East & The Oak Ridge Boys is just gorgeous!
Next year for sure!
YUP !
Original Christmas songs from these guys: Full of Cheer, Cold Hard Cash, Snow Globe, there’s more, but I can’t remember the rest. Oh, they also do Auld Lang Syne (New Year’s Eve song).
When Tim did this arrangement, he didn't have a Beatboxer 😊
Lindsey stirling o holy night, pentatonix o holy night. 😊
That is fantastic. Love Home Free
You really need to check out Do You Hear What I Hear. It is the best I've ever heard. Also check out Tim Foust originals Full of Cheer and Snow Globe. Merry Christmas. 🎄
Home Free does a great version of "Mary, Did You Know?"
Also, I would highly recommend listening to David Phelps' live version of this
Yes!...They set a new standard of perfection...Merry Christmas 🎄
#HOMEFREE........stunningly beautiful!
Oh holy night was written in 1843 in french as a poem. The music to it was written in 1847.
Great reaction guys.
And that's how it's done, ladies and gentlemen.
If you do their "Full of cheer"(the clip at the end) please do "Champagne taste on a beer budget " first. "Cheer" is a Christmas followup...

Merry Christmas. Thanks for the reaction to a great version of this song by Home Free.
Merry Christmas, Marine...oorah!
@@djonpow marry Christmas to you too.

Great reaction, Sam and Phil!
Merry Christmas
One more day to react to #DanVasc O Holy Night. Also, PTX!
By far, their best Xmas song is Do You Hear What I Hear. You've probably already viewed it, but if not, this may become your favorite. Peace.
Merry Christmas y'all. Just to let you know that #HomeFree does a beautiful rendition of "Auld Lang Syne." It is just harmony heaven and a great choice for New Years Eve. 🎉☀

No matter what HF does, it's gold!!
This song was my first introduction to Home Free--and they've been my favorite musicians ever since!
Love it when these guys voice the bell tones🔔

Song is good and home free is an amazing group. Merry Christmas
FANTASTIC 🎅🎄 #HOMEFREE
This is such a beautifully reverent song. I get chills every time I hear it. The harmonies are so gorgeous. Merry Christmas!
This is the first song I ever heard them do for my introduction to them, I was instantly hooked. Austin looks young in this one.
Their cover of Mary did you know is great as well. ❤
I love home free. Rascal Flatts did a great rendition of I'll Be Home For Christmas.

Home Free does several 'Church Organ' endings to songs. Nobody does it better !
Powerful
Respect to the original, arranged tastefully, wonderful harmonies. No more embellishment needed!
This is so very beautiful! I get goosebumps every time I hear this. Love your reactions! Merry Christmas!
😇 Angels singing 😍🤠 Beautiful 🥰. Great reaction.🏠🍟
Should listen what Christmas means to me
Fantastic! Y’all really need to check out David Phelps sing this on the Bill and Gloria Gaither tour. It will blow your mind!
Lovely reaction, the reason this is my absolute favorite version is that even though they display their amazing vocals, they allow the song to remain the focus. This song is so beautiful in its classic simplicity that lots of 'tricks' just take away.
This is so gorgeous.
Pentatonix also recently dropped their new Christmas album with O Holy Night. A MUST! Both so talented.
I listen to this particular song all year long.... it's the ONLY Christmas song I listen to any time other than Christmas and the only version I listen to. Merry Christmas!
😇
I would recommend listening to David Phelps singing this from a concert in 2000. While I love Home Free, David's voice will completely amaze you
Thanks for a year of wonderful song reactions. Enjoy the holidays to the max
You really should listen to Home Free's version of "I'll Be Home for Christmas", but have tissues handy for happy tears.
Wasn't that fantastic? The best version I have heard. No theatrics, no one showing off, no "see how powerfully I can belt this out", just 5 voices raised in song. 😇🤠😇
I know it was sung I ww1
Depends, in English? Because I understand more than I speak.
You should react to playing with fire an Austin original that really is on fire!
If you haven't listened to their rendition of Ring of Fire with Avi Kaplan or Tim with Peter Hollen doing Misty Mountain. Serious bass there.
If you haven't listened yet, check out their rendition of "Auld Lang Syne". Merry Christmas, y'all.
Just a suggestion, Lucy Thomas Music. Any of the duets with her sister Martha. Halleluja is a great place to start then The Prayer and go from there.
Written in 1843 by a French composer
It was originally a poem.
Tim's arrangement of this classic just pays reverence to the original.
Look Desireless - Voyage Voyage
I believe it was written in 1847
Check out Aaron Neville's version of this song.
Great reaction! Their song "Angels We Have Heard on High" gives this one a run for it's money, I think it's actually better than this one, It's also in a church so the acoustics are amazing! ^.^
No christmas decoration?
Remember the ones who share no christ mass.
1892?
Merry Christmas you guys!🎄☃️❄️🎁
Oddly enough, the writer was an atheist and the lyricist was Jewish...
This song is NOT gospel. It is a classical song with Christian lyrics.
Austin should have been the only lead..the first guy’s voice doesn’t fit the song at all 🙄
I will have to respectfully disagree with you.
I would have loved it regardless because their voices are so good yet so different. Merry Christmas.
