Just came back to uni after a year break. I was so burnt out then, and the change I feel now in school is crazy. Coming back after a year has made me much more confident in my ability to succeed, learn and balance life. I am still recovering from burn-out, but I am taking it one day at a time

thank you for sharing your journey. i've been struggling with mental healt for years and that caused me to fall short on my educational life. all my friends started university and i'm in my second year of no school. this period in my life litterally made me grow into a person who i'd love to be and i'm grateful for such problems and surviving them. now that i am better in so many ways i actually want to learn like i'm hungry for knowledge and this makes me so happy. i was feeling alone in this but since i see that one of my favorite youtubers is in such case i feel empowered. love you jusuf bisoussssss
I'm so excited for you! I've been off and on with University for the last 6 years(!!!) and only just started at an actual University and not a community college. I'm definitely one of the oldest undergrad students but I'm SO happy I made this decision for myself. It's great to go to school when your heart's really in it, not just when you feel like you have to go. I can't wait for more study videos from you, if you choose to make them! They have always been so motivating.

I’ve been following along with since those days of you finishing school years ago. I took a 4 year break from school after graduating as well, and started at university this May. So glad that we both found our path back to having a curiosity for learning! Good luck in your classes
I used to feel like am playing catch-up in my life. My friends all graduated and it seems to me they have got it together miles than me. I went back to uni after two years, a journey i had already given up on, but damn! am so proud of my head and life space right now. i enjoy all the classes and learning has never been this enjoyable in my life and there is always that regret that '' why wasn't i focused back then'' but this situations have really added drive and purpose to my life and i feel likke i now know myself much better. Thanks for this video
hi jusuf! i think I’ve never commented any of your videos, but I’ve been following you since 2019! and we graduated high school around the same time! I started uni in my country in 2018, it didn’t feel right, i dropped out and spent one year preparing for moving and now it’s my second year learning new language in new country. I got a scholarship, moved here and I’m finally going back to school next March after 3 years of not studying and 5 years after graduating from high school. it feels scary being an international student and the oldest one in my class, but your video is such a relief!! and all the people here who took a big break before university we’re in it together!! cant wait to see your journey and cant wait for more study content!! 🤍

thanks so much for sharing your story. this video showed up when i was asking for signs to go back to school and i'm glad it did (amazing in itself bc i didn't search for it, just scrolled my main feed). it felt like a reminder that it does get better, you can always start over and learning in itself is pretty rad. congrats on your decision and best of luck with everything

I remember during my 3rd year in Uni, I stumbled upon your channel and your productivity videos really gave me some inspiration to do better bc at that time I was failing some of my classes. And I also remember thinking to myself how I wish I could also enjoy my life the way you do because I loved watching your vlogs when you were having fun with your friends and how carefree you guys look like. It never occurred to me that you might be going through something that's why you were not as active as you did before. I also just went back to school, after a couple of years of burnout working as an ecologist. It is liberating and really appreciate going back to learn now that I am older and don't take advantage of the opportunity

i think it was a good decision to let the pandemic pass by before you take uni, u r more in tune with ur mental health as u step into it, more align with what you want to do. setbacks usually set you up for even better opportunities so i believe this is the best time for you, jusuf! been watching since 2017! can't wait to see you make content in uni :)

I'm so so happy for you!!. I remember when you graduated, me and my friend watched all of your videos at that time and it was so cool because we graduated the same week too! and then she started to study (like Nae) and I felt bad because I wasn't going to the uni at that time but you weren't either and IDK I didn't feel alone. Then you got your pet and a couple of months later I rescued a cat which I love, I cut my hair in a pixie hairstyle and a couple of months later you got your hair cut... long story short some days ago I decided to go back to coding since is just 100 days more or less for the year to end, and now you are going to study... Girl I really need to do a video chat with you 'cause there is a lot I want to ask you and tell you, omg!! I hope that we can chat some day...

In quite a few European countries it is actually quite common to start uni at the age of 20-22, due to the different school systems. So no worries ☺️

I'm only a few years older than you, but I still feel justified in saying this: You've grown into such a lovely young woman! Articulate, thoughtful, compassionate. You seem to have grown through your struggles. I know how hard it can be, I was myself diagnosed with a pretty shitty illness literally a month before starting my studies. My bachelors degree has been equal parts studying and coming to terms with it. I wish you all the best in your endeavours
I've always had this things for learning new languages, and I got this scholarship to learn Japanese so I immediately hopped onto it.
I must say learning Japanese isn't easy at all, but I'm having so much fun.
I just find it lonely sometimes to be so far away from family and friends 😄

Good luck at school. If I got you correctly, would suggest you to not consider it as a redemption. Do not attach such feelings to it. You are there to learn, grow and enjoy the process. Never forget this

I failed grade 7 once, almost failed 11th and quit school, did an apprenticeship, applied to University via job experience and then did my bachelors and masters.

Hey, it's crazy how it seemed that way on my videos right? I didn't study well at all and barely did because my personal life was in shambles. You have no idea about what went on behind the scenes that kept me from perfoming at school that's why it seems incongruent.
