    What's the difference between profesora and maestra ?

      They both mean "a person who teaches", but "maestro" also refers to somebody who has mastered a skill, who is an expert on something.

      In English, the professor is the one who is more expert than the teacher . The professor teaches in universities and the teacher teaches in schools. So in Spanish it's the opposite, right ?
