@AfterPrisonShow, I used to work in vehicle salvage industry and auto-body and towing/impounds. Most of the impound lots/tow yards see guns and drugs all the time when they inventory it. They usually just store it in inventoried property for however long it is and then dispose of it after a while. Not many tow companies want to deal with a bunch of thugs pissed off because their guns or dope disappeared on their watch. If you haven't heard anything from it yet, that's one worry I'd let go of.

I like this type of content. It's kind of like behind the scenes stuff. I have been curious for years as to some of the stories behind your 4 years of You Tube success and think probably others may be interested too. I often wondered what went on behind the scenes in the early years and leading up to building your channel, what obstacles did you face, what were your feelings, things like that. Just my two cents.

I had a bad feeling about that venture at the time but I hoped I'd be wrong. Props to you Joe for trying to help people. Transportation seems to be a big problem for people getting out of prison. The need is definitely there. Just too many things to go wrong.

Awesome story. Love these type of stories… I certainly miss the daily uploads, and your right in saying you started this genre in YT world.
Crazy stories on all 5 of those mopeds… and crazy how the one you thought would not work out was the one that did.
You certainly go above and beyond to put your hand out to help people and don’t expect nothing in return. Sad that people have taken that kindness and abused it, and used you and being troubling situations your way.

You did pretty well Joe. You should look at the outcome of the whole moped situation as a blessing in disguise. Considering recidivism rate for a prisoner to be rearrested within 5 years of release is 76.6% the sooner you walked away from it all the better for you. You now have zero liability from the moped situation running around.

I'm so sad to hear that the mopeds went so wrong. I remember watching when you first got them and how excited you were. I really was on your side with these. I thought they were going to be such a good idea, and I thought they were going to bring such a good way to help people. I'm so sad that people took such advantage and did such bad things. Just goes to show that you can't give people things, as much as we want to, if people don't work for things they don't appreciate them. It was a good plan Joe but if you do something like this again, and let's face it we all know you will 😁😉🤗 put a condition on it make them work for it make them have a stake in it. If they have something to lose then they're less likely to cut ties and run. In the meantime enjoy the Free world, peace!

My God, you can't make this stuff up. I think you mentioned the word "circus" somewhere. I can see it now, Joe: all the "after prison" show characters assembled, in clown dress and face paint. They're on mopeds going around a ring in the middle of the arena. We should make a comedy film out of it. We'll call it: The After Prison Show Circus Gang. Love the visuals. And get Danny back! That's like a car dealer feeling guilty for every wreck their cars they sold were in . That's got nothing to do with you. I remember the moped days , I thought it was an amazing idea, and still do. Maybe if someone does this again, weekly drug screens should be done with each weekly payment. I bet that would help. If they don't want to do rent to own the moped. My grandfather had a moped shop in Capecoral FL. Called Ed's Mopeds ( his name was John, don't know any Ed). I guess he just likes the name. Keep coming up with original ideas , the next one could make you millions while helping others. Much love from FL

Last thing I'm buying my kids is a motorbike. Cars are just too unpredictable, I've had multiple family friends die from their first accident all over 1 bad driver.
This is coming from a racer, being the most skilled individual you can imagine isn't enough to keep you safe. You need to know 100% of your options, exactly where cars could come flying out any moment (and even then anything can happen)

Bro i LOVE motorbikes and after getting in a hit and run with a truck after it came into my lane, i tell anyone i know who wants one, "DONT DO IT"
They are so much fun but death aint worth it

I was one of those that told you it was a bad idea, just because of the liability without insurance as a business. I wanted to be wrong because I loved the idea, but I'm very glad at least none of those stories ended with you being sued and your home being on the line or something. You've done awesome though man, it's not your fault people are so flawed. And thanks for the update, a lot of us have been waiting on that story lol.

I drive a honda ruckus, a 49cc moped, and I have not had any issues so far. However, that is in part due to how paranoid I am while on the thing. I always wear a bright reflective safety vest no matter the the occassion or if I'm just going down the road to the dollar store. The most important thing when on any type of motorbike is to be seen and heard. If you can't be heard, then you have to be even more obnoxiously visible to the point where it's nearly impossible for other drivers to not see you.
