Corrugated tin sheets, PVC pipes, never-ending bullets in a magazine, an under-the-sea version of Alien sort of. Very much a B movie in every way.
The corrugate tin has a special design to withstand the deepest underwater trench (Marianna's Trench) in the world! And that PVC is specially treated with deep sea underwater lead free paint! I can't think of anything for the endless magazines though, except for they're MAGICAL!!! LOL, Simple hollywood idocies can answer anything. I'm an error hunter also, it's a hobby. But it also tells the intelect of the directors. Some of them are borderline retarded. If not over the boarder.

Kinda different & kinda interesting. An Oceangate instead of a Stargate.
Chthulu-like monster on the ocean floor, only with a considerably larger budget. Both films owe major debts to H.P. Lovecraft,
Dumped the film after a few minutes. I realize that underwater and cave scenes are going to be dimmed down, but this film was too dim right from the beginning, while still on land. I have vision issues, so things that are too bright or too dark are a problem for me. I don't want to have to frequently adjust the brightness setting when watching programs, so I'd rather dump a program that will strain my eyes. And yes, I do listen to a lot of audio programs too.
with all the cheap props and sets, it makes the acting all the more compelling. The yellow and black safety tape just overwhelms me.

The fact that most of this hand picked crew loses their stuff when things get tougher makes it all fall apart. Plus the fact that the pressure doors are two ill fitting flaps side steps the survivability of that plexiglass forklift they send outside. Besides that it's a regular B- movie. lol

That great Old One looked a bit rubbery; ...but that inept crew really broke suspension of disbelieve.
But still upper tier among B-movies.

Entertaining movie!! I enjoyed it. Gotta laugh when characters in sub-surface environments with limited oxygen fire up a cigarette to burn it away even faster.
Liked it. Picked up the Miscatonic (misspelled) reference so knew it was going to have a Lovecraft theme. At the end liked the John Carpenter’s The Thing vibe
see what happens when you get emotional and dont follow the rules, while working

29:00 I don't always build a subsurface vehicles for 12000 meters, but when I do I use wood, especially for the airlock doors.
I wouldn't class it as B. Music was well done through the movie. Kept the tension going. General acting etc is not bad. Hints of a few different movies. Bit of a homage to one specific one at the end.

I believe this movie was labelled. It is not a "B" movie, but rather a "C" movie.

This was a pretty good movie what made it so good because it was a true story. This is what things has been hidden from the people. And thank you for sharing the truth.

Absolutely brilliant film. Inside the Sub looks like Captain Nemo's Night Club and wiring is slightly better on my cruiser and it has a dustbin lid hatch and everyfin lol. The vibration at 40m was terrifying and probably due to the amounts of plastic they are colliding with. :) Overall for the budget it was good and a brilliant concept.. I hope James Cameron is watching. ;)
Boarding a speed boat in an antarctic base from a british type wharf. ?. Did aliens build that stone block wharf also. Or did I miss something. ????.
That was one of the better effects, mine was the air lock made of sheet metal.

Watching a movie taking place in the dark. Not my cup of tea. I fast-forwarded and I'm glad I did. I saved myself wasting my time.
It is very difficult to complete a movie project, even one with a variety of issues, so it is an achievement to produced the final release. It seems implausible that a dangerous scientific expedition would include even a single unstable individual, let alone two or more, so the script needs some work. The giant creature's wings hinder the realism of the special effect; they don't seem to capture the scale, so revealing them so clearly doesn't really work.
This IS A GOOD syfy suspense movie.. It's Intense suspense.
Compare this low-budget B moviie to 'Autopsy of Jane Doe" to see what can be done with an excellent script and few intelligent actors.
What kind of crew was that what happened to never leave a man behind 😮

Good movie. Gave me the creeps but that's what I hope it would be about. I enjoyed the movie.
My thoughts on the film? I'm not richer having watched it, that's for sure. It starts off with lots of potential but goes off the rails quickly. Huge train wreck. Between continuity problems and some serious overacting as well as a poor plot and atrocious climax and resolution, I'm glad it was only an hour and 15 minutes or so. Thanks for posting. I'm going to watch "Big Ass Spider" now. I'm sure it will be another winner!!

When it starts with the discovery then is followed by the digital type across the screen you know already its a great film

This film has started very promisingly, I however made the mistake of reading the comment on the screen when I came here to watch, but I won’t give up on it until it proves, or disproves to me that it is not everything it could be, onwards.
I’m a bit confused @ 15:31 I thought 💭 that the crew was just the scientists that decided to join the expedition, but there is a crew onboard doing dive preparations, so what was the 2 months training about?.
For anyone who thinks or wants to say that I “go on, and on about very little” or that they see is “blah,blah,blah” I’m sorry but it has been said before, and the reason my comment is usually very protracted is because it is part of my dementia therapy, it keeps my brain functioning and not just sitting idle while I forget stuff, so sorry. The best I can do is say that if you don’t want to be bored or don’t want to read my comment then stop right here and NOW. obviously if you do read on please don’t say I didn’t warn you.
@ 17:11 I was thinking that the scenery/props looked quite good, that was until I saw the interior lighting cables being just three core 240v white household stuff held in place by cable clips that are available from any old DIY store, a submarine that can go to 37,000 ft and you can’t even make the electrical cabling look more substantial and more like the cable bundles that would be needed for all the systems that the submarine would need, even with a low budget they could have done better.
Okay, first question answered the “crew” doing the dive preparations were the dive control staff not the submarine crew. My bad.
If I was on that submarine and it shook that badly just opening the vents and then the initial dive I would be extremely concerned, no SCARED witless, it doesn’t seem right to me, perhaps somebody who has sub experience could say if that was normal or not.

LOL the sea creature God turned into a plant? Why in the world did they bring cigarettes on this underwater adventure? And who thought it was ok to bring guns? I never knew you could machine gun a chain link and break the chains!!!
It was filmed before everyone's fear of tobacco smoke & misuse of firearms. Nobody thought ill of smoking or casual ownership of ANY fire arms at that time.

Right from the start the movie makes big errors as why put on a hazmat suit but do not cover your hands? Anyway what do you expect from a B rated movie, lol. If the plot is that each part of this creature is like that of the "Thing," then it's all over for all life not just humanity as from the looks of it any contact with it means it's now simply uncontainable as no protocol was taken for any type of bio threats.
The music sounded like a distorted version of DSOTM to me.
