Lymphatic drainage stimulates your lymphatic system which is basically your body's natural purification system. After a surgery, for example, the area is overloaded with fluid because of trauma to the area. Lymphatic drainage helps drain your body of the excess lymph (fluid). :)
ComfortablyNumb My grandmother had cancer and they had to remove quite a few lymph nodes, causing her legs to swell up a lot. she goes to this kind of thing every two weeks to get the fluid massaged out so yeah I guess there are a few reasons to go ☺️

She made a real therapy for a real medical condition sound like generic alt-med pseudoscience babble. MLD isn't about "boosting the immune system" or "detoxification", it's about draining a buildup of fluid out of a limb affected by lymphedema. Don't get me wrong, I like this channel, but this was a major letdown.

CliffEdge they're both ASMR just different types. Whispering gives me more tingles but soft speaking helps me sleep more so I watch both
