      Thank you! We just had this little fireplace lit the other night. The faux fireplace surround looks good in our bedroom year round!

    This is a brilliant idea! So easy to customize for each individual and the door. I would have never thought to deconstruct a door and some bits from a table to build a fireplace surround. You spark creativity.
    Thank you for sharing ;)

    Loved the fireplace! Using the wash stand harp on it was sooooo creative! Great use of lovely curved pieces. Look forward to seeing it set up in your bedroom.

    I absolutely love this. Chippy is my favorite, too. I liked how you showed the French cleat. I got many useful ideas for projects from this video. I am working on old doors now that I just turned into a She Shed that has old tin for a roof. A few of them are old natural chippy, but now I am inspired to work on the others to finish it out. Faux fireplace definitely keeping in my mindset as a project.

      Omgoodness Im so jealous that you are creating a she shed! I have a stack of windows that I want to use and maybe a door or two for a future she shed! Thanks for watching and we are thrilled you found inspiration here😊

    So creative, original and beautiful! Amazing to me that you could envision putting those peices together and how well it worked. Just might have to try and steal this idea for our little bedroom stove. Wish I had a stash like yours to pull from, though.😊

    The house I lived in before I moved in here was 125 years old. It had four fireplaces with beautiful mantels. The fireplaces were non-working so I hung tension rods and quilts and lace in the openings. It was really pretty! I have a space heater like that, now I just need an old door ☺️

      What a great idea! I have some old small quilts that I could use on this fireplace. Thanks for sharing about your home😊

    What a super idea. Love how you designed it especially using parts from something else that’s old. My only regret to say is I wished you had used the black side. Could of used the milk paint on it n see all the crackle paint with the black coming through. But that’s my personal thoughts. It’s not going into my bedroom. I guess in the future you can paint it black n start again with the milk paint. It’s a cool looking faux fireplace.
    Anxious to see it finished. ♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟

    I like the fireplace out of the door it is so cool. But not liking the music sheets inside. For me it takes away from the look you are doing. That is just me. I guess I would use stick brick sheets. Or stone.

    • @ReinventedDelaware
      @ReinventedDelaware  ปีที่แล้ว

      Your idea for brick sheets or stone would look amazing! Thanks for sharing your ideas😊
