Kickers are all the top scorers in NFL history because they get so many more opportunities to get points and tend to have longer careers - with the good ones able to work into their 40's.

It's the snapper and holder of course, but the single thing that crosses all official games at all levels, is the kicker's leg and ability to take the pressure. This is the thing that legends are made of. I hope the other leagues that compete with the NFL are successful. I enjoyed watching them and the game is more exciting. I'm sure a lot of people will say that his height is the reason, and in a way it is. The best way to analyze this is Golf with tall players. Yes they have more distance because of the centrifugal force (such as in Newtonian Mechanics) in extending that force to the extended end of the foot or club. Problem is, getting that done with amazing accuracy. Golfers like VJ hit it a mile but their ability to stay in play was here and there. They always missed a few shots and the longer they tried to hit the less accuracy. And they are doing it with precision equipment tunned to a thousands of a mm. This kid was using his foot and a odd shaped ball. This is an amazing success. It would be almost impossible to duplicate, but he did it under huge pressure. WOW

What the hell are the coaches high fiving each other for!! One man won this game, through no help from the offense, defense or coaching. They should be ashamed, and he should never have to buy another meal for the rest of the season!
It takes a supremely special and perfected kind of suck by a teams offense to even make this possible. Cool to turn the table on the typical kicker script. So often you hear of kickers only when they fail. Nice to see one being highlighted. Now, did the team invite their offensive coordinator to pursue employment opportunities elsewhere after this game?
Wow, that was quite a fantastic showing. What really stinks is if he had missed just one of his kicks, he would have been a chump, even though he had made 7 others! Thank goodness for him he was up to the challenge. Another thing I noticed was the thousands upon thousands, I mean tens upon tens, of spectators in the stands. That’s the difference between the USFL and the NFL. Having to do this with a packed stadium may, and I said may, could have caused a completely different outcome! GREAT KICKS YOUNG MAN.
