KFC in UK is shit indeed. Staff really don't bother, which is why the place always looks crappy and you can taste it in the food they prepare too (sloppy chips, chicken that looks like it's been sat for an hour in the kitchen and so on). Five Guys is okay-ish, but very overpriced for what you get. Milkshakes not a fan of, tastes like paper. Didn't expect Lando not to mention Nando's as he's known for having Nando's takeaways regularly when he lived in the UK (he now lives in Monte Carlo where there's no Nando's of course).
UK KFC has got worse tbh They opened one in our town right next to McDonalds, MD is packed and KFC barely has one customer in, though I'm not surprised since there's 3 staff who cant be bothered, very slow even making you park your car up and wait even though YOU are the ONLY customer They dont deliver either, even though theres a poster in the restaurant stating to not wait in a queue and have it delivered, also when you do order quite often theres either items missing or the wrong portion sizes, but the chicken doesnt taste the same as it used to so stopped going.
UK KFC isn't what it was. The chicken is way too salty these days, saltier than it already was. Those shitty skin on fries are legit just McCain chips, maybe even off-brand bought from Iceland (btw that new "seasoning" they have contributes nothing to the flavour) and the service has been awful for years. I'd also love to see what a clean KFC looks like, because I'm afraid I am yet to see one.
Five Guys burgers are overpriced and underseasoned. And don't give me that "but you can put everything on them!" because the burger still needs to hold its form. If you need to disguise the blandness of your burger with copious amounts of condiments, you've still made a bad burger.
