  • In this episode I'm gonna cover this topic again from the first video of my vlog. It was called "How to inflate a ball the right way". I think it is still very important because I get a lot of comments and questions about this topic. And I think people ought to know how you can inflate a ball without damaging the valve or the bladder. Some balls can be very expensive and you don't want to risk damaging it.
    I also want to thank VC Greenyard Maaseik for donating this beautiful Mikasa V200W CEV game ball.
    Where to buy all the stuff:
    * Analogue ball gauge: www.amazon.com/Select-70-910-... or www.amazon.co.uk/Erima-Air-Pr...
    * Digital ball gauge: www.amazon.com/Mikasa-Digital...

      Are we talking about the pressure of a volleyball, basketball or soccer ball f.e.?

    Hello Ivan! Tell me please there are two needles in the set of Mikasa digital guide pressure! Can I use one of those needle for pump?
    Or those needles must be used only strictly for digital guide pressure???
    Thank you in advance!

      If you can find a ball pump that has the same diameter for the needle that is the same as the Mikasa ball gauge needle, then it should work. The problem is that in most cases you need other needles because the diameter of the Mikasa needle (that came with the digital gauge) is different.

    Hi Ivan! I don't have a pressure gauge for my Volleyball and Basketball, how can I know if there is enough air inside the ball with my fingers?

      A basketball has a little bit more pressure than a volleyball but when you throw the basketball a little bit above your head, it should at least reach your waist or elbow. This should be the perfect pressure. A volleyball has less pressure than a basketball so you should feel with your fingers and you should feel your fingers squeezing the ball a little bit. You can also bounce the volleyball and smash with your had towards the ground and if it feels right, keep that pressure.

      @@TOPCyber is it too much if it bounces above my elbow?

      @@emo.c It depends on the surface you are bouncing the ball. On hard court, the ball tends to bounce higher. On an indoor wooden floor the ball will bounce less

      You need to find a very thin oil. I don't know glycerin but if you can find for example sewing oil or another thin oil, it should also work just fine.

    Why do you need the oil

    • @TOPCyber
      @TOPCyber  ปีที่แล้ว

      A thin oil is the perfect lubricant for lubricating the valve. You will not damage the valve wall if you use this kind of oil and because of this, the ball will stay inflated for a way longer period of time
