What a useless review! It's a mini so not much room! It's a sporty mini so firm ride! It's a brilliant small fast economical car with sharp rewarding handling. Great second hand buy.

Still trying to figure out why they are complaining about boot space on a Mini? There's the Clubman if you want extra trunk space and people space. Also there's the Countryman.
Good point. At £750 more for the diesel it says in the review that would take about 2 years before the Diesel starts to save you money. The £4000 difference between the base prices of the Cooper SD and Cooper, being over 5 times as much, would logically take close to 10 years of ownership before the Diesel works out cheaper, especially on finance. Ok, so that ignores what happens come resale time but regardless it will still take a long time for before the difference really makes itself known.

Powerful diesel engine? I have a 130k Golf Mk5 which has had nothing more than a Piper exhaust and an Rtech remap and a Cooper SD could not get away from me.. So by that logic, my Golf is powerful. :> yay. Still, not the worst Mini (the CoUNTryman is by far)
1) What is dizel? 2) Is that in MINIs or another car? We are talking about MINIs here and not whaatever car you and your friend are driving. 3) Please, show me how 65 is 2 or 3 times more than 50. I don't need to be a mechanic to know simple math. 4) Those are official figures done in standardised tests so the only variable is the engine. I could go on but at this point it seems worthless as I have already proven what you have said to be incorrect or off topic.

The diesel also has way more torque and generally, the engines last longer-thus very good resale.

Maybe change to std tyres instead of run flats. My Mini gives great ride. I dont know what there on about.....
You can spec Minis with the run flats deleted and a mobility kit in the boot but people don't and still complain. Can't win.

Rubbish. Same tank size for both and 65mpg vs. 50mpg is going to be about 25% further not 2 or 3 times further.
