Even though Milestone 1 has much less scope than the current version, I'd argue that it's the most stable and polished version of SuperTux. Milestone 2 is a bit of a mess development wise and it has so much missed potential if you take a look at the concepts that were made for it around 2006-2008.
@@aminadabbrulle8252 There are no lives in Milestone 2. There used to be a coin checkpoint system where you'd lose 10% of your total coins if you died at a checkpoint and lose your checkpoint if you lost all your coins, but I believe the coin loss was removed.
just played through 0.1.1 on the wii and it was great. Honesty I think it's better in a lot of ways then the new versions.
I agree, I prefer the retro feel and the sounds in this one

You can also play SuperTux 0.1.1 (older, but not many changes): codeberg.org/glowiak/AppImages/raw/branch/master/SuperTux-0.1.1-x86_64.AppImage

@@Alzter0 Oh, a question. Does Milestone 2 still has the bug where you can have essentially infinite lifes by aborting level whenever you die?
