Yankees needed that win after last nights game, I started getting Deja Vu late in this game... also these playoffs are going to give us a heart attack lol. The fans in general, these games are hard to watch in a fun way.

Not even watching live, but when I see the score tied my heart was already pounding.
My heart can finally go back to beating normally.
Last night’s loss was such a gut punch. It hurt like the Yankees against the Red Sox in 2004 or the Warriors against the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016.

Gleyber is incredible in the postseason and volpe as it's his first ever. Makes up for an average regular season. Stanton too can't complain at all. Craze how the yanks outside of last year has been fun and the year they lost the wild card. Hope tomorrow brings them together. No game 6 please.

What this series has demonstrated is that bullpen games in the postseason do not work. They never have and never will. When you bring in 10 relievers, at least 1 or 2 will have bad games.
I agree specially when you are not getting length out of your starters
its been proven for a while now, but most starting pitchers these days just cant seem to get it done in the playoffs. The zach wheelers of the world are an extremely rare breed. Most of them choke hard, which is why teams end up having to overuse their bps. Relievers are known to be volatile.

Someone PLEASE get Clay Holmes out of the Yankee Bullpen. Every time he’s on the mound it’s a guaranteed heart attack. I can’t even begin to imagine what the dodgers will do to him if we make it to the World Series.
You didn't notice Clay went 15 inn without an ER before yesterday? Still, he won't be in high leverage situations again, he will only get the ball to eat innings
Al leiter jr is just as awful if not worse. They need some length out of these starters, it's getting ridiculous. The pen is getting exposed now and is overworked. Only 1 starter has gone past 5 innings this series

Last night Kahnle threw two pitches in the box that got called balls and allowed Kwan to get a walk rather than get struck out. At least the bad umpiring affects both teams

That strike out on Thomas was so lucky. He walks and CLE scores one on the sac fly, and then the tying run on the botched DP ball. Would have been such a 2024 Yankee thing for the defensive replacement to mess up a DP, only get the out at first, and let CLE tie the game. Then it is likely game over in the 10th like last night. Two defeats like that in 2 games would have been the end for the Yankees.
And if all those things happened, the outcome would be completely different .....WHAT? Between the "excuse me" hits the Guardians had and silly errors, and Cleveland still couldn't get it done

Also, lane Thomas had one bad pitch called on him. Last night Kwan had two pitches in the box called as balls which instead of resulting in a K, allowed him to walk and made Weaver come into the 8th rather than the 9th and perhaps he is less gassed and doesn’t serve up two meatballs to Thomas and Noel
Point is, complaining about umpiring is weak. The game isn’t rigged, sometimes umpires make mistakes but it often affects both teams and at the end of the day the players need to execute. I mean Rizzo missed an underhanded toss that I honestly think 90% of the people in the comment section could have caught and Cleveland wouldn’t have even scored. That’s baseball, umps, errors, and nail bitting finishes

The first time that I never feel like watching the WS even before it starts. I don't care much about who's going to win this one but I just have a bit of feelings for Judge, Stanton and mostly for the former Cub.
