When I was younger (like 13) I was putting on spf before I went to the beach and my dad wasn't so I asked him why he wasn't wearing any and his response was "princess black don't crack" and I looked at him said "but Black can get cancer". He grabbed that suncream real quick 😂Now he always makes sure to wear it on holiday

The pressurized cabin in planes are actually extremely low humidity which probably makes your skin kind of panic and really overproduce oil way too fast. My skin will get super flaky with a weird oily film over it, then I’ll get super oily with breakouts the next couple of days. I try to not wear any makeup on planes so I can apply skincare on the plane to combat the dehydration.

girl I wish, my skin always gets dry.....so I try to drink water on the plane. I wish my skin was flawless that way I can keep the makeup to a basic mascara n eyeshadow n eyebrows type thing but it never happens 😕
aj not scary!! but the take off and landing can be a little scary just because of the noise by i think i read that you’re more likely to be struck by lighting than be in a plane crash. that makes me feel better usually so hopefully it helps you! plus if it’s a long flight you can take some melatonin and crash for the entire thing lol

Rather than Glossier's skin tint, I highly recommend The Ordinary's serum foundation. Its pretty much the same thing, but with slightly more coverage which I appreciate, and its a fraction of the price at $6.
I don’t think that’s gonna happen; Jackie got a really bad burn from the Ordinary’s lactic acid a few years ago.

When you have oily skin and are on a flight, the air in the plane usually has zero humidity in it so to balance that, your skin produces more oil. That's why when you get out, you have that effect.

Girl I was born and raised in Miami, my makeup be snitching on me
It's the dry, stale air in the plane. As old as the joke may be, there is truth in that airplanes are pressurized tubes of air. They need to keep it cool on the inside to help with that so that people can be relatively comfortable during the flight. This results in it wreaking havoc on your skin. If you have dry skin, your skin will feel like you've just had all your moisture just sucked right the hell out of you. If you're oily, it will trigger your skin to produce even more oil to combat the dryness of the air. It invited unwanted guests to your pores; flying is just a nightmare for your skin. It's why you always need to make sure to hydrate before the flight, on the flight (even if you're not that thirsty, make sure to take a few sips of water, especially on long flights; make it a goal to finish a bottle of water), and after the flight. Soup is a good way to bounce back from a long flight (though I might be biased because my long flights usually end with me in Japan which has wonderful soup options).
