Thank you for your comment. You can play an Em a variety of ways. To play a proper Em you need to include the notes e b and g. You need at least one of each. In book A, I show a really easy version that is an Em triad which is just the first three strings open which includes the note e, b and g. I believe the version or voicing you at referencing includes the first three strings open as well as the note e on the d string, the note b on the a string and the sixth string open e. Please let me know if that makes sense.
Please note on your chord diagrams there's a typo on Em( E minor) for E minor the A and D strings must be held down and the rest of the other strings are open 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hey there, sorry thought I answered this. The E minor cord contains the notes E B and G. And can be played by playing strings 1, 2 and 3 open. That is the easiest chord to play. However you are probably referring to the voicing that would also include the 6th string open, the note b on the A string and the note e on the D string. From the 6th string the notes would read E B E G B E please let me know if this helps explain
