Maria, You make me want to buy one of each! I purchased an S40 about 1.5 years ago and I love it. Robert is great and has really helped me out more than once. I plan on buying the V20 next year! Good job.
Such a huge waste of time in the bikes market from America. America has forgotten country like India for Cruzbikes. I am the lover of American Cruzbikes. I want to buy ❤️👍🇮🇳
Nice to see Maria again. Way back in 2008 I bought my Cruzbike Freerider from Maria. I have ridden my Freerider in many Social and timed events over the years. I would like to move up to either the Q45 or the Vendetta V20, but, with the Exchange Rate at 18:1 US $ to S.A. Rands, add in Bank Charges and Import Taxes, it takes it way out of pocket for me. All the best to the Team @ Cruzbike as they continue to keep the MBB ( Moving Bottom Bracket) forward and the Pedals turning. Here is looking forward to the next 16 years. Tks Bent Expo.

I recently bought a Cruzbike S40. I live in Ireland. I got it on Wednesday 18th of March and I was cycling it some what on Thursday 19th March. The customers service was second to none while buying the S40 and the after sales customer service stayed equally as good. The Cruzbike S40 is something else. I wasn’t a cyclist before I bought my S40 and I’m cycling 30, 40, 50 Km, I would definitely never have been able to do on any other bike. My average speed is 25 kph at average 80 rpms. What a bike and what a great service from all the Cruzbike team.
Such a huge waste of time in the bikes market from America. America has forgotten country like India for Cruzbikes. I am the lover of American Cruzbikes. I want to buy Cruzbike Silvio recumbent which has 45 degree saddle bent. ❤️👍🇮🇳
Mahesh Poojari hi. I think I would be the only person in Ireland to have a Cruzbike and I can’t tell you I’m definitely the only one in my province to have a recumbent. I bought directly from Cruzbike and they looked after me very well. I’m sure if you contact them they would look after you. There are also lots of Facebook sites where you can get information and buy and sell. Hope you get yourself a Silvio. My next bike will be the V20. All the best and Happy New Year. Hopefully 2021 will be a good one.
Looks like I have to expand my bent inventory to include one of these. Off to my nearest dealer for a test ride. Two Catrikes, a long wheel base Sun EZ rider and now one of these....looks like my car is going to end up on the driveway as garage will be full of these cycles!
Hiya Mark-It would seem watching my "Bent Expo" videos could be hazardous to your bank account😂 Seriously, I think you will love a Cruzbike and it sure would round out your collection of riding choices. Thanks for watching!!
Gary Solomon I checked craigslist and there is a cruzbike and a Bacchetta for sale within 50 miles of me.....used by serious riders. Will test ride both and buy the one that fits me and my style of riding best. I am looking forward to trying a short wheelbase recumbent. Will fill you in with details after my test runs. Steeply discounted from new model prices. My kids will inherit a few bucks less......hopefully many years down the pike!
Doc777S I found a cruzbike and a Bacchetta for sale on Craigslist nearby. Used by serious riders. Will test ride both this weekend. I love my Catrike 559 and Trail....not terribly fond of the long wheelbase Sun EZ recumbent... too tough to maneuver and useless on hills. Will fill you in.
Finna Sprang ...I test rode a bacchetta and it was great but I didn’t feel as stable and safe. Climbing was tough. Also much tougher to get started on .Catrikes are incredible for climbing and super comfortable and much safer. My LWB is super fast and I looked into a conversion but I am not willing to spend $2k on it. One of my Catrikes has a Bionx hub e assist which is incredible. I bought it’s the a bargain price and didn’t even know they existed at that time. I switch off between my Catrike Trail ( e assist) and 559 regularly, I have ridden both thousands of miles....I bet I haven’t used the e assist for 20 miles. It is there for an emergency ...they are such great climbers that I never use it. I use it to beat the weather home when I get caught in storms. Certainly worth having though.
Finna Sprang cruzbike was awesome but I just didn’t feel as if it was as safe for a long ride when one’s mind might wander. Also, I clip in with my Catrikes and I would get killed doing that on A cruzbike. E assist is great to have as an ace in the hole if you really need it. I ride for the exercise . Lots of,fun toys out there for us.

I am also a member of the Cruzbike tribe riding a V20 for over a couple years now. After the initial learning curve this bike multiplies the joy factor by at least five to ten over a conventional frame bike. The investment in learning the bike is paid off literally in better strength and coordination in other life endeavors. With the S40 and Q45 it is easy to blend with the conventional riders depending on speed. With the V20 I generally ride about 10-20 lengths back from a pack and let the peloton do its thing. For the past couple months I will ride most of the way with a group and in the last 5 miles slowly pass the group and finish the ride at an elevated pace alone. No one has caught me yet, although I had trouble with a group of three cyclists last weekend who pushed me up into the 27 mph range. They gave up eventually. Never have I had any neck, seat, hand, or butt pain on this bike despite riding around 5000 miles per year. Also, if you are a tinkerer, the Cruzbike line just practically begs for fun little mods whether they are for adding bags and lights or making custom aero changes such as handlebars or even making your own fairings etc.
Good to mention that Cruzebike actually started in Australia before 2006 where they were produced for a number of years before being bought out by the current US owners.
Cruzbike, Inc. was founded by Jim Parker of the US and John Tolhurst of Australia in 2005 as an NC company. John Tolhurst designed and made a kit to convert a Y frame mountain bike to a FWD recumbent prior to Cruzbike's incorporation. John Tolhurst continued to design bicycles for Cruzbike until 2015, when he sold his shares in the company. Here is a blog post about that transition: cruzbike.com/blogs/blog/changes-at-cruzbike
I'm saving money to get that S40. Currently building my first diy FWD Cruzbike style just to familiarize and get used to the recumbent position riding.
have a CB Quest w/ 599 wheel for few years already, I really want to experiment by fitting a newer designed front triangle of Q45 (or S40, whichever fit better or requires less mods works), just wish that CB is selling the front triangle just like years ago with conversion kits for Softrider.

Will Cruzbike come to Spezi in the coming years? I am sure there is a lot of Europeans who would love to test out their concept. There is a marvelous testing circuit that would allow to test the bikes out also on a little climb. I would even help out with translation if they d like to.
@@mariaparker8764 That would be really great. I am looking forward to see you there. And if i may i have a question out of curiousness: Is it possible or maybe even easy to ride a cruzbike freehandedly? That would make them especially interesting for anyone daring to do long trips wouldn't it?

I like the idea of having more weight on the front wheel for a recumbent. I would like to know the weight on each wheel with and without a rider for a Ctuz bike and a comparable rear drive. I used to dislike front drive card until I got a Mazda3 hatchback. Fugettaboutit.

How does Cruzbike Q45 climb with 2 panniers on 15% grades, specifically the Pacific coast tour.
