Today is July 20, 2019, it is 50 years ago to the day, that I visited this area of Glacier Park and Camped with my Uncle on Bowman Creek near to Polebridge. Not sure if that little Campground exists anymore. This was on July 20, 1969 when Man first Landed and Walked on the Moon via Apollo 11. We listened to the event on the AM radio from a radio station in Kalispell I believe. I was 14 years old. Back then the Trees in the Campground were HUGE and now are all gone from the Forest Fires I see and have read about, the area nonetheless is still Beautiful. I can remember looking up at the Moon that epic evening so far from Home and saying Wow I got to remember this experience, your Video has helped to relive that feeling. I Hope to return there again. The Trout were easy to catch back then, and I have been fishing ever since. I feel blessed to share this little story. Thanks for posting this video - Jerry M, Syracuse, NY
