Funny to think that Revolver mentioned death in most of the songs on the album and that was their album that show a big change in style musically and they didn’t just write live songs
Revolver mentions death on exactly half the songs on the album. You wrote that it mentions death in most of the songs. Half is not most. Therefore, you were wrong, and thus fallible and ultimately human. I hope that you do not feel too disgraced by your lack of accuracy.

every "die" in "no reply" adds up to a great song on its own
John's references to death are more often about the literal death of a person. Paul's references to death are more often not: for instance, "a love that will never die" in both And I Love Her, and Here, There, and Everywhere; or "dying to take you away" in Magical Mystery Tour; or the "dead of night" in Blackbird". There are of course, exceptions for both.
Judging by the comments, not everyone understood the joke of the video - I inserted only those songs where there is a direct word "death", and not songs with such motives. The video would otherwise be very long :)
i mean, the title says "when they wrote about death", so naturally, that's what anybody would expect. Maybe you should've just titled it "when they mention death", to give a more accurate impression. I don't think so so many people "misunderstood" it. Maybe see the bigger picture + should check if your title can be improved. No hate, though
The average youtube viewer, after watching a video that consists exclusively of words "die", "death", "dying", etc. from Beatles songs, concludes: "This is clearly a serious, academical research, and therefore it's inaccurate, and it's *my moral duty* to correct it in the most obnoxious way possible."
@@internetgirl2001 yeah when they "mention" death, not "about". Because there are songs that aren't into death such as Oh! Darling, etc. Then that's the reason why it attracts people misunderstood.
0:27 John Lennon, clearly traumatised by Paul's unfortunate death in 1966, can't help but call out for his friend whilst Billy Shears sits their in the studio
@@kingsly3690 A large amount of people believed that Paul died in 1966 and that the Beatles replaced him with a doppelganger (a look-alike). The band references the conspiracy theory in post-Revolver songs. The most cited examples are "Strawberry Fields Forever", where it sounds like Lennon is saying "I buried Paul" at the end, and the cover for Abbey Road; a depiction of a funeral where Lennon is the priest or a god, Starr is a mourner, Harrison is the gravedigger, and McCartney is the corpse.
There is that part at the very end of I Am the Walrus that says "what an untimely death," but I suppose that wasn't any of the band members, so the title can justify excluding it.
You missed "a day in the life"'s mentions about the dead man in the 1st verse. You know, the one that blew his mind out in a car, and could've been from the house of lords. Is not literal, but it is for sure a clear reference.
Haha was thinking about the same thing. When I bought the first Beatles album I found it amusing how many times they sing about love in that record alone.
Mostly Lennon
No surprise there.

They also stopped being "live" just a few weeks after Revolver came out. Btw a revolver is a thing that also makes people die. So many connections

Literally my first thought, sounds like a beat cos the baseline is doing a ABCB progression
Yeah it's melodical
Almost metal in a way
Jesus, never knew they were into death. Almost sing as much about death as Iron Maiden.
Slayer
A lot of the examples from their early songs are taken very out of context, most of the time it's referring to love never dying
It's confirmed: The Beatles were so revolutionary they invented Death Metal and Emo music.
