I don't like it I L O V E IT! You do these so mucially, thanks. Tons of fun for everyone! As Paul's Dad said, "Couldn't it be 'She Loves You YES! YES! YES? Everything is so American!" Yeah, Baby, Yeah! Hate to admit it took me a minute to figure out "TB" sheesh!
In brazil the translation of hard day's night(movie) was 'os reis do ie ie ie' (the kings of the yeah yeah yeah) it makes sense but still hilarious to me
If you listen to their music from when they were in Germany, they copied the American accent when singing the cover songs. Paul sounded Elvis-ish. They were copying what they were hearing on the popular records coming in from America. They were advertised on US TV a great deal in the fall of 1963, before being on the Ed Sullivan Show the first time in Jan. of 1964 -- the teaser was "The British are Coming!" And, we wondered what in the world are they talking about "The British are Coming." Then, when they came for their tour in 1964, many America teens said they sounded American when singing -- so where's the British? There's even a version of Paul singing the Bell's on the Hill recorded at some gig where he sounds American. However, in the British Variety Show where the members of the Royal Family attended, he sounds very British. I'd say that was a smart decision. And on the recorded version of that song, he retained the Britishness.
It won't be Long is such an underrated banger and I find it hilarious that it solos just about every song in their career in terms of sheer volume of "Yeahs!"
Now I know why John Lennon didn't think much of the Sgt Pepper's LP. Not nearly enough yeahs in it for him. Gotta love their consistency otherwise though. Nice work :)
I love this!!! Not to be that guy but there's a wee little "yeah" at the end of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (the song) at around 1:57! Glad that Pepper had at least one
Four points- At the beginning I wondered what was going on, you had clearly missed their most famous uses of said word - specifically from She Loves You and I Want to Hold Your Hand. But then, as we got to the end of their original canon I realised you were going back belatedly to the singles...as it happened via the Past Masters albums. Going into this vid, I was convinced that the majority would be from early in their career; not the case, said word was liberally spread throughout, eh? Always good to have a counter-argument, and thus nice to hear a few "na, na, na's" in Hey Jude. Parts of this mash-up sound like they could have stood alone for a few seconds in the middle of Revolution 9.
The last "yeah" featured (for the second time) in the video was the one in "I Want You (She's So Heavy)", so we must coincede here. This is the best "Yeah" in the entire Beatles' discography! Thanks!
@@coingamerthysecond Well, I must like way too much that song, because when I used to drink, it went extremely well with alcohol and that "YEEEEEAAAAAAAHHH" always got me. 😅 BTW, I've subscribed already. I was a day late. Sorry.
Here in Brazil, the a hard days night album is called the kings yeah yeah yeah (os reis do iê iê iê) and i was wondering here "they were watching to this video to make the title of the album?".
30% of the yeahs came from the singles. Given there's... 11 albums with yeahs on it (12 in total, 13 if you count Yellow Sub) that's a really big percentage! (spread out evenly amongst the albums with yeahs on it, each would take up 6%)
Just found another "Yeah" in The Night Before: Not the "Yesss" the launches the solo, but a little "Yeah" almost whispered by Paul just before the second chorus ("Last night is a night I will remember…")
HAHAHA!! Do you remember when "Gilligan's Island" had a spoof of the Beatles called the Mosquitoes, and the iconic thing they copied was "Yea, yea, yea!" lol... ironically McCartney's dad begged them to not use "yea" because it was an American denigration of the English language
I don't like it

This type of rock n roll was called ie ie ie in the 60s here
that's awesome lmao. Yeah Yeah Yeah is a weirdly fitting name for that era of the beatles
In MÉXICO (my country) , the film was promoted as "YEAH-YEAH-YEAH, JOHN, PAUL, GEORGE Y RINGO"
In Japan it used be called the Beatles are gonna come!yeah yeah yeah!
😂
The fact that there are no yeahs in Sgt Peppers is weirdly unnerving to me
There's one in the title track at the very end
The Beatles should’ve called themselves the Yeah Yeah Yeahs
In "She Loves You" they just about did
Funny fact: the movie title for A Hard Day's Night here in Brazil was translated to "Os Reis do Ié Ié Ié" wich means "The Kings of the Yeah Yeah Yeah"
@@guilhermeirineu420 You really had to do it when no one's asking
The French equivalent of this type of music in the '60s was called yé yé for this reason lol
Yeah. And, I'm surprised there was never a band who called themselves the "Yeah, Yeahs," even a tribute band.
Paul ''s dad asked them to sing "yes yes yes" on "She loves you". They obviously didn't like the idea. They liked their yeahs galore.

You can hear the whole story on the carpool karaoke in James Corden's channel (carpool karaoke with Paul McCartney)
3:50 so satisfying to see the numbers growing as Paul shouts these "YEAH'S"
never realized how much they said yeah 😭
POV: you're an annoyed parent in the early 1960s and your teen daughters won't stop listening to those British boys.
I think we've just discovered a new Beatles drinking game!! 🍺🎸🍺
oh no
@@SamsonIsBored07 YEAH YEAH YEAH

I've been listening to Money (That's What I Want) recently and noticed that I missed 3 yeahs on it 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
oh no! (or is it Ono?) You're NOT PEFECT1?!?!?! AAAAaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhh!
you also missed the "oh yeah, oh right" in The End (Abbey Road)...

That part where the said "yeah" was so fire omg
I would not have guessed that many "yeahs"

"It Won't Be Long" *yeahs so many times it overloaded*
