The editing and commentary made this extremely efficient. Most other guides I've felt like I had to keep the video at 2x speed to avoid spending an hour watching a video per chapter, but this is even faster than that.
Just wanted to say thanks for these great guides, Brian! Haven't seen many for Rime but these are really well done. Just enough detail to get the trophies without spoiling the game/puzzles.
I'm so confused. Not by the guide, there isn't a single confusing bit in all 4 parts of this guide. What's confusing me is the comments. This is a trophy guide, not a guide for the whole game, so why are people complaining about the edits? That's literally the way it should be. If you're watching this for anything other than the trophies, I'm sorry but you've come to the wrong place. I can't begin to understand how people are confused at all by any of this
The problem is some of us get lost easy or have to check another video for the puzzles. For example, I played this game on PC. Now I want to do it again on PS4 just for the trophies. I can't remember everything I did two years ago in my first playthrough. So I would prefer one long uninterrupted video to guide me through it. It's all good. It's just different styles. Variety is a good thing. I love this channel, by the way.

As soon as you reach that area yourself you're not able to remember it what you saw in the video? You can hold your phone next to you watching the video while you're playing, I really don't see how someone would not be able to recognise the locations...As for the puzzles, this is a trophy walkthrough not a story walkthrough so yeah, there's a pretty significant difference to that.

Am i the only one who isnt bothered by the skipping? He just doesnt show story puzzles. If you are that bothered by it just search a puzzle guide and use them together. Everytime he skips forward he starts at a point where you definitly would pass so it is always easy to understand.
its not the skipping the puzzles that bothers me its the lack of information to direct to that part i don't want a guide for the puzzle just a bit more to lead you in the right direction i mean when you get to this box doesn't help if you haven't gotten there yet
Ancient Treasure Trophy: Do NOT drop the orb for this as Brian suggests, while carrying it and standing next to the sentinel you need to shout (triangle).
David Johnson go back up the stairs to the area you came from before getting the outfit. There's a puzzle there which opens a new door, then another puzzle and then you'll be at the location. I think too many people are trying to do this in one play through and get confused because they are not familiar with the game. People should play it first then do this guide and things will be familiar.
This is so useful, and you can still enjoy the game while looking for collectibles. Thanks! BUT I think it's not enough to not press triangle to get the "Dark and quiet" trophy. I didn't, but didn't get the trophy. Maybe it's because I jumped and fell or something and the character moaned. Anyway, pay attention, the chapters are way too long.
Anyone following this: At the end of the chapter do the Dark and Quiet trophy first before the Path of Light. You have to get through the labyrinth without pressing triangle AND without jumping. I found this out the hard way as the Path of Light requires you to jump those gaps so had to restart chapter again to get Dark and Quiet.
I don't think so but when your character screams and turns into stone, break free then look behind you and you will see another blue statue you will need to yell at

This guide is fine and it's perfect for people who want to figure out the puzzles themselves but don't want to play it a second time just to collect things.
I played through the game without any walkthroughs. The labyrinth was a huge pain! Going back to replay it to get all the collectibles and trophies. For the labyrinth, I decided to go to setting and put the brightness all the way up. It really helped but it is very cheap. It lights up the entire cave, you're able to see everything including the lights, ruining the challenge. It's cheap but I already did it the right away so this makes it okay, right?! But when I went to the White Shade, it wasn't there. I'm guessing because I already got it during my first playthrough. I don't remember if I got it or not. I think I did.
Mannn... he kept saying not to step on eggs... so i stepd on purpouse just to see what would happen.... figured out just after that maybe had something to do with a trophy 😓

Dude the guides have been getting worse and worse. You shouldn’t decide to not show something because every detail is important for us, it gives us a reference. When you don’t show us every detail or how to get from point A to B it makes the guides really hard to follow

I'm so confused after the ancient trophy and where to get with the box

I think too many people are trying to do this in one play through and get confused because they are not familiar with the game.
