@@EigenRovak hey, atleast you (and your parents) wernt taking your Grandma back down south and ended up staying in a hotel where your parents booked those ajoined rooms with a door, and it just so happens THAT BOTH DOORS STOP WORKING with Grandma's important purse stuff INSIDE the room with noone in there (which is a pluse I guess) so you all have to wait hours to get it fixed so the possibility that someone would steal grandma's stuff is a 0% possiblity (grandma was packing in the big monies that trip for some reason) so not only did your father drive for many hours (instead of taking a plane) to want to rest, you not only had to wait more hours to eat food from a Quaker Stake N Lube since no one could leave grandma's stuff alone in her room where the doors don't work, in the oft chance that someone does fix the doors so they could steal her stuff. Well anyway we took the same hotel back up north, and we won't be staying there ever again for some reason.
What a coincidence that I find this right before 2024 con and I found myself at 19:36 just chilling in the background. I remember it being Sunday and I was just kinda bored and not sure what else to do than sit outside in the nice weather and watch Tik Tok
Not sure if serious or not. AO is an awesome small local con. One of my favorites. It's not supposed to be FWA or AC. Your group appeared to have a great time. I was actually outside while you were doing the cardboard dancing and it was a great time.
100% deadass it was bad. Midwest Mayhem was us saying "screw this, we're gonna go have our own fun outside of con space". That was us that made that event, not AO.
I'm going through con videos to see which should be my first con, and I'll be honest, I don't see the problem. It looked like fun! (Aside from the hotel at the beginning!)

Save your money for FWA or AC, which happen around the same time as AO
