First story. The first line says it all. Truth be told. It’s never too late to get out of a bad situation. Intimidating, frightening maybe. But, never ever too late.Time to get out. Your future family are a nightmare. It’s only going to get worse
She blew up her relationship by calling the cops without talking to her fiance the ring belongs to his family and wasn't going to be her forever ring, the sister was wrong to take it but op made herself look like a gold digger
2nd baby story - if OP can't go her mothers, she needs to speak to friends and see if one of them will let her stay while in- laws are over, get everything ready at friends home and refuse to go home with husband until his parents are gone, or she is ready to see them. It is not the in-laws right to see the baby. If OP thinks the in-laws would gatecrash the friends home it may be worth making it seem like she is at another friends property after all husband will have his hands full being his mothers personal slave to have time to bond with his own child.
Story 1: I wonder why OP's still staying with her fiance and his toxic family? Is she in denial? How the hell is she still holding on being treated like this.
@@nilianstroyYeah, total BS. Who whines about sleeping on a couch if they have $$ to throw away on a hotel room. Idiotic. No way would I put up with any of that $#!t. Someone would get smacked; hubby or Mil. 😂
If OP is so short of money that she can't affort to move out or live with her mother them why did she have a first child? And a second? Ho w can they affort to take both inlaws in? Or is husband in control of the money?
@@robertx8020She says right there in the story hat the second one was an accident and by the time she knew it was 16 weeks which was too at in Georgia to terminate. But she should find a way to leave NOW before she ends up terminating MIL and husband.
@@shells500tutubo "An accident" NO!! Having kids is never an accident ..can it be unexpected? sure..but you need to have sex to have a chance on having kids! So as soon as you have sex there is a less than 0 chance you will have a child! And it still doesn't account for the first one!
The WORST PROBLEM in story 2 is NOT the Mother in law. It is the HUSBAND. He has shown that his mother takes priority over you and he won't stand up for you with her in any way. This is a DEAL BREAKER. When you divorce him (please do) tell him that he can marry his mother if she is so important to him. Trust me, unless he comes to his senses VERY VERY SOON and takes your side and puts his mother in her place its GAME OVER and you need to seek out a DIVORCE LAWYER. And now that he has established how low a priority you are to him what happens in the future if someone OTHER than your mother in law disrespects you? Maybe another family member or one of his friends? Whose side will he take then?
Lost ring story : NTA OP. The biggest red flag in this is that your fiance does not have your back. This will only get worse. Do you really want to spend your married life as the butt of your SIL's nastiness. New money can bring a whole lot of entitlement with it for some people and a financially stable family is not necessarily a happy one. Are you willing to sacrifice the chance of happiness with a man who loves you for the sake of, what, social convention and appearances to others?
Story 1: Oh geez. When it comes to this stuff especially with rich families they’d prefer to handle it internally (especially if it’s some big name family). She’s not an asshole for want press charges. But she just didn’t understand the dynamics in that family. They will shield each other from consequences all the time. I’d be shocked if he actually marries her now. The parents will not be warm to her as they were before. Had she only revealed her to be the thief, the parents and her S.O. probably would have handled it, but insisting that the sister be arrested, has probably put her on the outs with that family.
I'd be shocked if she still wanted to marry him, I don't care about rich people dynamics, FSIL is an effing thief. Rich people don't like to be exposed for their shitty behavior, expose them every chance u get.
What gets me is she knew she wasn't keeping that ring and it was going back to the family after a couple more weeks, if she'd just let it go sil would have "found" it and it would go back into the family vault
I think OP is ridiculous. It's ok she called the cops and humiliated her by finding the ring on her but then she turned stupid and acted like a petty child by pressing charges and then insisting on getting her into trouble as if a rich family would let their daughter have a prior for a temper tantrum. 🤦🏻♀️ Stupid OP. She should've been smarter. Humiliate her with class, telling her it's ok that she's against the wedding and you understand why, but stealing is not good and you hope she gets her impulses and tantrums checked instead of putting his brother and his new family in a tough situation. And that's it... I'm glad the boyfriend never married this dumb petty being
@ElleD308 This is the comment I was looking for. The ring was for sentimental reasons and not the actual engagement ring. If she still wanted to remain in the relationship, she should have stopped at exposing her SIL. The ball was in OP'S court, she foolishly sent it back to her SIL.
@annabordelon6663 The family did not care. The ring was found and they all knew what to do in this case. You NEVER involve law enforcement and you circle the wagons against the outside. Op's fiance should have been teaching her the "rules" and code rich people live by.
1. OP should not marry into that family with a weakling husband. 2. Birth mom, sorry you are still married to an abuser and his equally abusive family. Stay someplace else with your baby and your other child.
Story 1: Not fair to do since its easy to pass judgement when I am just hearing this story and have not had the same experiences I admit but I think for story 1 the OP is mildly an A.H. for NOT pressing charges. SHE SHOULD HAVE MADE SURE THAT THE POLICE ARRESTED THAT WITCH. Her husband won't speak to her for CONSIDERING pressing criminal charges even though she backed down? She might want to rethink this marriage. I wonder how he (and the rest of the family) would have reacted to the OP doing what she should have done??
It is a family ring, and Op is not family, so pressing charges would go nowhere. She needs to read Dominick Dunne's The Two Mrs. Grenville's and People Like Us.
Story 1: Let's face it. If the fiance's family wasn't stinking rich, OP would probably (and quite rightly) have walked away from this whole mess. Nobody comes out of this smelling of roses, do they?
I am having difficulty of following the confusing plot of story one due to cognitive difficulties I have mentally. Can someone please help me out here? Please correct me if I have it wrong? The sister in law COMMITTED A CRIME AGAINST THEM STEALING THE NECKLACE WHICH SHE VERY MUCH WOULD NOT HAVE RETURNED and um.... The OP did what was LEGAL and APPROPRIATE and CALLED THE COPS and even then was nice enough NOT to have the sister arrested (I would have) and um... Now SHE is the VILLAIN that must be shunned by her husband and the rest of the family, but not the sister who committed a felony against her? Did I get that right? Please help me out because I am confused? None of this is making any sense to me?
It was an heirloom RING, and belonged to the FAMILY although Op would temporarily be wearing it until the permanent ring for daily wear was purchased. People with that kind of money do not follow the laws of our land and rarely get caught for it because they own the politicians, the police chiefs and yes, the Supreme Court justices. They also have very expensive law firms on retainer. Until you have known some of these people you think that those stories of the super rich are mostly fiction. They are not.
If the OP only puts the screen up when she wants privacy and quiet, the group home will start screaming at her to get her attention because they know she's out there.
Fiance is a bigger problem than future SIL
His sister is a monster. She deserves whatever comes her way.
SIL needs to have some reality knocked into her.

The first month after the baby is born is not a good time for visitors.

You should not marry a man that doesn't have your back. You will regret it.
It's not her house to clean? It's her dog though.
How would she have the option of pressing charges. The fiance said outloud he agrees with his sister. So how did she think this shit would go?
