- I took the Sunrise Izumo from Izumo City Station to Tokyo Station.
This is my first Sunrise Izumo since the outbound A sleeper single deluxe was cancelled due to a typhoon and I had to take the overnight bus Susanoo No. 1 🚌💤 in a hurry. 🚃💤
Sleeping on the train on my side and taking a shower while bumping into the wall were all new experiences for me!
I also showed you how to buy a shower card 🚿.
Here was the breakdown of the fare for one person using the Sunrise Twin
Fare: for 1 person
Express fare: for 2 persons

はつこめです。二度ほど乗車しました。シングルとシングルツインです。シングルツインの時は喫煙席だったのでちょっと気にななりました。残念ながらサンライズとはいかなかったです。サンライズツインが取れたのは凄いですね。
はつこめありがとうございます!シングルとシングルツインも気になっています。サンライズツインの喫煙は気にならなかったのですがしばらく喫煙しない方の利用が続いたのかもですね。

シングルとは違いツインの方は、二人連れの片方が喫煙者だとしても、乗車中は相手に気を遣い喫煙しないから、かも知れませんね。🤔
自分が以前、北斗星のシングル喫煙に乗った時は酷かったです。😓
Oh this one's different. Usually it's Tokyo to Izumo not the other way around. It's nice to finally see parts of Izumoshi station.
Probably because more people take only one way to Izumo and return by Shinkansen or airplane than those who take the round-trip Sunrise Izumo train.
