Thank God my boyfriend knows how to wash his butt. He does a whole entire routine of rinsing, using soap, wiping with tissue for residue, then rinsing again after he does the “two” and he really gets in there 🤣

As a Muslim I've been doing this for as long as I remember we always wash our behind after a number 2 or 1 that's a religious obligation. So nice to see people are seeing how important this is.

Growing up my grandma raised me and used to wash me then stopped and never talked to me about how to clean. An my sister never did..she used to make fun of me with my brother
People were just too squeamish to talk about hygiene in my house. I'm sure I was given instructions when I was a toddler & in training to be capable of bathing on my own but whatever they were didn't stick for all those years and not many habits formed either. By the time I was a teenager, I didn't know basic stuff. Tg for the internet.

For real, preach! You are a wise young lady. When you said, "imagine me having kids telling them how to clean their butts..." I have 3 adult children, each one of them had step-by-step lessons on butt and package cleaning. They still talk about it to today. I taught the girls and my hubby taught my son. So I bath with white wash cloths to see that there is no dirt anymore… also I smell my towel to make sure there is no odor anymore. Tell me I’m not alone with smelling my wash cloths & even my panty liners. 😩 I have to know how I smell normally & see if there is an abnormal smell too
I smell mine also. That's way to many products. I never stink down there, and I just use gold dial or ivory original bar soap. Def can't use anything with a scent down there. No dove of any kind. Dr Bronners is a good soap though. Some can use all those scents and extra down there, but I will be itching and discharging trying to use all that extra, but some can.

White washcloth is a great idea!
Yes...I only use white bath cloths. I always use two bath cloths...one for my upper body and one for my lower body. I always wash with soap first to help loosen the dirt with a sudsy cloth, scrub, rinse and follow that up with a good body wash. The white cloth definitely lets you know the area that needs attention. BTW... I always smell my bath cloth, hand or whatever I use down there!

Soaking is everything ladies … 20 min soak ( bath salts/dove liquid gel/or fav bath gel) and then proceed to shower. If you shave even better guaranteed to stop odor.

@@tiad.9142 True but normally comes from it being done repeatedly (more than 3/4 times a week) a good soak once twice a week with Vinegar (for those with yeast infections; they’re generally from an imbalance of Ph - Vinegar balances this naturally). Now it goes without saying everything isn’t for everyone. But those ladies willing to try, see if it works for you! If so great (YW 😆) and if not I hope for success in your journey.

Another tip I will share for body odor is benzoyl peroxide lathered to stank areas (NOT VAGINA) armpits anus feet for about 2 minutes. This is a tip from dermatologists as well for body order it helps kill that odor causing bacteria. Its not just for acne. Ten percent works wonders for that. At least try it on ur body. Salacylic acid also lightens pigmentation on the body due to the chemical exfoliation benefits it has. So under arms vaginal surroundings. Also is a beast for razor bumps. Try it out!

I never ask for anything. But I ask to please pray for me. I am very desperate. I can't sleep. For two months I am having a very annoying ear pressure and for a month tinnitus. Doctors find my ear is fine but I still have the ear pressure and very hard sounding tinnitus it gets louder by time. 🥺😭😭😭😭. I hope I can't find serenity again in my life. I desperately pray to god everyday in the name of Jesus so he can touch and heal my ear and my head. I need sanity. I am a wife and a mom of three kids. I live in Puerto Rico.

If you can't find the spray she used with the wipes, mix witch hazel with water in a spray bottle with a lil lavender essential oil. It works wonders. Can be used to freshen your armpits during the day as well.

Agree with all this. A few extras; bending the same way when wiping is just as important - wipe to white, too. I use a separate washcloth for my face and always wash my private areas last, after pits and body. It’s important to dry your private areas well, dampness can cause odor. Make sure the washcloth is cleaned well after each use.

Dr bronner is my everything I always start with that 1st... its a natural castile soap and it gets you super clean... then I follow up with dove because it's soft and moisturizing

I think it’s a form of OCD because over the years worrying about my hygiene and being the cleanest I can be has given me anxiety. My mom passed and I was sent away from my grandmother and aunt to live with my uncle the height of my puberty so I had to teach myself. I used TH-cam and google to help me. Now all these years later I’m finally content with my routine.
I thought I was the only one using those 2 together the spray is also called perineal cleansing no rinse spray, I use it with cottonelle wipes and also I use spray called rael after I number 2 and or urinate lol good to know more women are taking care of themselves in those sensitive areas....I know of PLENTY females that just number 2 and wipe only no shower or nothing after...I've been telling females about proper cleaning for many years but I'm not brave enough as you! Vitamin E oil works so well too! I started using that same Dove soap a month ago and it definitely makes a difference!! Before I used sensitive dove to avoid irritating yeast infections I had at the moment and I was never as fresh as using the Cucumber and Green Tea one!! I always had to scrub so much with other soaps. Also, it’s sensitive enough to use even a day after a wax!

In case anyone needed to hear someone’s routine so basically I do a similar routine I use dove sensitive skin unscented body wash to wash my behind with a soft wash cloth and then for my downstairs area I use a unscented bar soap then for the body portion I use anti bacterial soap to wash my body first and then I move on to the scented body wash I hope this helps someone

I kind of wanna share some things from my culture too because I think that some people might find it useful. I'm Brazilian, and it's really common to just hot wax everything front to back every 20 days or so, that way you don't worry about body hair on your private parts.
Also after using the bathroom instead of cleaning yourself with paper, it is better to just wash yourself with a bidet or a little shower head, so you stay fresh.
Avoiding underwear that is not made of 100% cotton on the inside is also good for our skin down there, and not wearing underwear when you sleep is also really good for you. To let your skin "breathe".
My gynecologist always told me to just use warm water to wash myself down there and afterwards making sure that I'm completely dry, every little fold, and I just follow that. Also avoid skin tight jeans, clothes that are more loose are better for your skin.
Also not just about the butt but, always pee after being intimate with someone, I hope everybody knows this already, it avoids infection.
I do all of these and I never had problems with bad odor or infections, hope it helps someone.

I have to be careful with this as a crohns patient. I get sore back there anyway because of the irritation of back/forth to bathroom. This was so helpful!
My advice would be to use wet paper towels after going number two. Use a gentle waterless cleanser.
(Medical grade) also use coconut oil or cornstarch to keep from getting a rash.

A peri bottle filled with warm soap & water EVERY time you used the bathroom. Followed up by cotton pad soaked in Witch Hazel keeps me fresh throughout the day. Castile soap is great tip as well.

Peri bottles are amazing as well. Fill with warm water add a few sprays of no rinse soap and rinse front and/or back. Great for travel or in between showers.

Girl, thank you very much for this video. My mom has never taught me how to really clean myself really good and it took a while to realize that I’m not washing myself correctly. There were some times that I would be changing and I smell myself and be like.. “wtf, I stink a lot down there and I smell hella musty.” But I would think it was normal because of puberty and all that. But sometimes I were to be able to smell it whenever I would crisscross my legs or open my legs the slightest, I used to think that if I could smell it everyone else could too. Thinking that sometimes got me the point that I were to just keep my distance from people or spray a whole lot of perfume on my body. And (ofc) the perfume scent would go away all the time 🙄 But after a long time I just started watching a lot of people just telling their routines and how to do this and that, I’ve realized how bad I had been washing myself. 😅
Here’s want I learned: No fragrance scented soaps for down there, how to prevent razor bumps, HOW TO WASH MY BUTT-, use Dove deodorant instead of being cheap and using Suave (I heard this one girl got a rash from using Suave), exfoliate to get rid of dead skin, and e.t.c. I feel like as soon as I get a better hygiene, my insecurities will go away and I will be more fresher than I ever had been! 😭🤍💓
As a Nigerian girl, we were raised to always have a bucket and bowl in the washroom somewhere. When we go number 2, we wipe the poop off first with tissue or wet wipes and then rinse off our bum with a bowl of water to get the smell off. As I got older, I started rinsing off with a bowl of water and Dove unscented bar soap. I don’t understand how people don’t rinse off with water after they poop.

You be surprised of those little things folk are struggling to figure out on how to be, feel and smell more fresh or the get rid of an odors, but not bold enough to ask. A video on how to clean your butt is priceless and a darn blessing for those who really do not know how. Now they can watch without feeling embarrassed. Do not use bio oil if you have sensitive skin. It has way too many irritating fragrance compounds that can cause rashes or contact dermatitis. It hasn't even been proven to work for stretch marks. Its best to just keep the stretch marks hydrated but don't expect miracles most of the time they are hereditary. Of course do whatever works for you but I got this info from a dermatologist and I thought I would share also because I tried putting this on my face years ago and it makes those tiny little flesh bumps. Maybe not for all people but for most people I know. If you want to try helping ur stretch marks try caffeine serum by the ordinary. Other than that try to embrace them. ❤

Oh! I also tried Bio Oil and I reacted so bad. Luckily my face breaks out just at one point if it reacts but also takes a whole while ro clear.
