Judging by the way y’all talk in this video, I highly doubt you’re into Asians either but you expect white guys to want you and if they don’t they’re “racist”? I work out 5 times a week but for some reason I can’t seem to get buff like the Insta gays and therefor those type of guys won’t ever go for me (only in very rare circumstances they have). You constantly give yourself these grandiose titles such as - queen, mother, goddess, boss bee.. and still other groups of non black men aren't impressed. This episode was intriguing. It was great to hear about the parallels of their experience to how my own being black although they are both different. This episode needs a follow up topic discussing the "gay culture" and how it excludes so many of us.
I'm southeast Asian men and been dating couple of white girl ,i found them same like girl in general and no special, The only thing I can say is focus on yourself, building your charisma, leadership, Alphatraits, adventurous ,and don't let ANY girl change your mission and purpose , in the end No men in this world remind by how he looks like but by what he done to this world.

I’m a British-Filipino who dated plenty of Asian and Non-Asian girls during my time in NYC , and I’ve had them blatantly tell me that I was more mature, polite and objectively attractive attractive (in terms of my physique) compared to a lot of the Non-Asian blokes they’d dated It just goes to show how dirty Western Media and Entertainment can govern the minds of the general public with how they view good-honest Asian Men. I’m circling back onto this video I’ve see last year. Last year I found it hard to face some of these things you ask yourself after being rejected even at the forefront before I ask women out. But in the last year I got to dating a woman outside of my race only to find out that she never plans to be with any life long partners unless they were black even though she was Mexican. That hurt even though I knew most women I’ve encountered feel this way. My subconscious thoughts are spiraling into darker questions but I know at the end of the day I have to move on.
Its mostly an American phenomenon. One of my greatest culture shocks after moving to this country was in realizing American women were the most shallow and spoiled women on this planet. I've traveled across several countries in EU and lived there but never have I encountered women like in the US. Not surprisingly, the American women who showed interest in me often were people from the EU who immigrated here recently. Go figure..
This is a fascinating video but there's something that I couldn't help but notice. Every single Asian man in this video that talked about an attraction to another man or described a date, exclusively referred to white men. I've seen this in almost every single video that deals with Asians in the lgbtq+ community. They will discuss how hurtful it is that no one wants to date Asians while they themselves ALSO don't want to date Asians (they almost always only want to get with white men).
I am a GWM, and i have never, ever seen an Asian hook up or show any kind of attraction to another Asian male. Same thing, most of the black gay males chase white men, exclusively. What other people do is not what bothers me, but when they whine that you are doing them an injustice by not dating/fucking them, it really annoys me to no end. I am attracted to the kind of guys I grew up with, and i'm Italian. I love Italian men, everything about them. So, I can't wrap my head around groups of guys that don't want their own people. Challenge mode: being a Gay Asian Top on any Gay Dating/Hookup app. I don't where this stereotype came from where we're supposed to be seen as submissive bottoms came from. I can't even tell if Asian guys on these apps are bottoms just so they can feel loved by society or if they're actually bottoms. When I went to Taiwan, Tokyo, and Hong Kong it was a good mix of sexual roles where guys could just be themselves. Asians in the US however seem to be around 80%.
I am black Jamaican, so like many black Jamaicans I have Chinese ancestry . In America I have found that the only group honestly unwilling to date me are Asians. Something that just was never an issue back home. The sexual politics of gay Asians in America skew white. We all have our preferences or like me no preferences. However Its an interesting dynamic. I would love to see it explored more.
@@mangopudding5979 Two things a 2010 genetic survey of Jamaica found 40% of black Jamaicans (because Jamaica is a multi ethnic society ) showed markers of Chinese ancestry and the history of Jamaica that explains how those markers got there. 1807 Slavery ended in Jamaica. Most formerly enslaved families received crown land to farm and left the plantations. Jamaican slave masters were largely unable to entice or coerce the formerly enslaved population back to work on the plantations. So they imported half a million Chinese men to do the work that the formerly enslaved Africans would not do. Just men no women. Black women made an industry of selling food to those men. A large mixed black and Asian population came out of those interactions they were called derisively chigros. Most were absorbed into the black and mixed race population. Which at that time numbered less than two million people. Asians would continue to migrate to Jamaica for the entire British colonial period, eventually they would would start to bring their own women and a large Chinese community would develop in Jamaica until the 1970's Today meeting Jamaicans with Chinese surnames in JA is a surprise to no one. However the ancestry detected in the genetic survey is no doubt from the half a million men who were brought to work the plantations at the end of slavery . There needs to be a honest conversation about this as I feel the men in this video are barely scratching the surface. The proximity to whiteness is what Eats away at them and unless they’re honest about it they won’t feel any better about their situation. I say this because the conversations undertone is ‘why won’t white gay men accept me?’ When they talk about their experiences down to how they feel they are seen. Unfortunately this is what happens when u grow up in a not so diversse community. I'm asian that grew up in a country side town in Arkansas that was predominantly white. I had ZERO asian classmates from 4th to 6th grade.... all my time there exploring my sexuality and romantic interests has led me to solely seek out white boys...to the point that I wanted to be more white myself. Moving to Chicago in the 7th grade changed my life. My environment was sooo diverse i found myself getting attracted to other POCs like myself. Lots of decolonizing to do but it's such an amazing journey.
How is this advice? These men won’t admit it but they aren’t attracted to Asians either because all they’re doing is complaining why white men aren’t into them. I’m not attracted to Asians and it has nothing to do with racism, I just don’t find their features attractive. Doesn’t mean I don’t respect them. Definitely felt this growing up, I grew up in a predominantly white community. As such I had a preference for white girls. I had my glow up very late (at 26-27) but I noticed that once you reach a certain level of "looks" or attractiveness, it doesn't matter what race you are :)

Every culture is unique. Filipino culture isn’t the same as Chinese culture which isn’t the same as Korean culture. But as a whole, the Asian gay man feels either fetishized or less-than. My friend would do anything to have a lifelong husband who is either an Asian national or first generation Asian American/Canadian. What can he do to break through? He is authentic and wants these men to know he’s serious about treating them as individuals and that he’s not looking to have sensual experiences with a bunch of people who are “his type”. Despite being a white man, he would more than likely yield to their culture, He would treat them as they wanted to be treated. He is a very sexually neutral man who enjoys penetrating and penetration. He doesn’t have a type; feminine and masculine, both catch his eye. He is kind of shallow, looks matter to him but beauty is undeniably subjective no matter what society claims. However, if they’re ugly to him on the inside, he’s not going to compromise just because he shares a few interests with them and they are physically attractive. Asian men, just know that not every white man is out there to dominate you or make you feel badly about yourself. There are white western men who could potentially have a strong connection with you and would treat you like his god.

You also mentioned the feminine/masculine both catching your friends eye. which implies what you really meant to say was "calling all Femme Asian men, its ok...you will still get f***** but not treated like an Asian Bottom publicly.. LOL omg. And lastly; The parting message to Asian men was unwarranted. Asian men dont need you to tell them this. You are playing the role of "friendly European trying to convince Pocahontas that..the white man with his eye on her means her no harm and will treat her right." Here I am. I am Japanese having grown up in Japan and living and working abroad for professional reasons (most likely retiring in Japan without seeking migration). My comments : I see how poorly Western media has projected the image of Asian men (or ignored totally) to the extent of making them feel marginalised. It seems unnatural for them to be made feel "less", when looked from outsiders. It is funny that in Japan, the white men are often regarded less attractive for different reasons (associated with philosophical immaturity, lack of cleanliness and hygienic standards/ communication skills/ emotional intelligence, colonial past, and unpleasantly dominant attitudes as a sign of ignorance). The only solution : To travel widely outside where he or she grew up to open up one's mind courageously so we can see things differently and more individually and be free from those unnaturally imposed stereotypes. This is necessary not only for the Eastners to the West and the South, but also for the Westerners to the East and the South.
It's not just skin color though. Are you really denying that races look different from one another? I'm a black man and am not attracted to every race/ethnicity and i'm ok with not everyone being attracted to me.

Asia includes the middle east central asia south asia east asia and north asia. I know that east asians and some south asians have had problems with discrimination but what about all the others
@@wegood563 That's not true. Out of 85% of All Asian Americans, 23% of them are Chinese and 20% of them are Indians so roughly the same in size. These 2 are the largest Asian population in US. Even assuming this isn't the case, why shouldn't they be part of a conversation about discrimination, especially since they experience discrimination the most, just because they are a smaller group? @@thelonercoder5816 Your racial identity is irrelevant, what matters is evidence and reason. Your preferences can indeed come from a place of racial bias and it can be discriminatory. There's plenty of quantitative and qualitative evidence supporting it. Your preferences aren't created in vacuum. Its mostly conditioned through predominant beauty standards that you're exposed to. There's no one on this planet who is neurologically wired such that they can't be attracted to all individuals of a given race because there's enough variation in the said racial population than in between racial groups. That's the reason why race is called a social construct. The average person isn't exposed to the diversity of human population around the world. So If someone rules out an entire racial/ethnic group before even interacting with/exposing to every one of them, it can only be because of aversions that operate on a different level to raw sexual attraction. If you turn a group of people into a monolith and a totality based on few traits you assume that is shared in that group, and then reject that on the basis of not liking it, then yes, that's pretty much the textbook definition of prejudice. There's no way around it.

I’m white and very skinny. I’m a British-Filipino who dated plenty of Asian and Non-Asian girls during my time in NYC , and I’ve had them blatantly tell me that I was more mature, polite and objectively attractive attractive (in terms of my physique) compared to a lot of the Non-Asian blokes they’d dated

I’m circling back onto this video I’ve see last year. Last year I found it hard to face some of these things you ask yourself after being rejected even at the forefront before I ask women out. But in the last year I got to dating a woman outside of my race only to find out that she never plans to be with any life long partners unless they were black even though she was Mexican. That hurt even though I knew most women I’ve encountered feel this way. My subconscious thoughts are spiraling into darker questions but I know at the end of the day I have to move on.
Its mostly an American phenomenon. One of my greatest culture shocks after moving to this country was in realizing American women were the most shallow and spoiled women on this planet. I've traveled across several countries in EU and lived there but never have I encountered women like in the US. Not surprisingly, the American women who showed interest in me often were people from the EU who immigrated here recently. Go figure..
This is a fascinating video but there's something that I couldn't help but notice. Every single Asian man in this video that talked about an attraction to another man or described a date, exclusively referred to white men. I've seen this in almost every single video that deals with Asians in the lgbtq+ community. They will discuss how hurtful it is that no one wants to date Asians while they themselves ALSO don't want to date Asians (they almost always only want to get with white men).
I am a GWM, and i have never, ever seen an Asian hook up or show any kind of attraction to another Asian male. Same thing, most of the black gay males chase white men, exclusively. Challenge mode: being a Gay Asian Top on any Gay Dating/Hookup app. I don't where this stereotype came from where we're supposed to be seen as submissive bottoms came from. I can't even tell if Asian guys on these apps are bottoms just so they can feel loved by society or if they're actually bottoms. When I went to Taiwan, Tokyo, and Hong Kong it was a good mix of sexual roles where guys could just be themselves. Asians in the US however seem to be around 80%.
I am black Jamaican, so like many black Jamaicans I have Chinese ancestry . In America I have found that the only group honestly unwilling to date me are Asians. Something that just was never an issue back home. The sexual politics of gay Asians in America skew white. We all have our preferences or like me no preferences. However Its an interesting dynamic. I would love to see it explored more.

@@mangopudding5979 Two things a 2010 genetic survey of Jamaica found 40% of black Jamaicans (because Jamaica is a multi ethnic society ) showed markers of Chinese ancestry and the history of Jamaica that explains how those markers got there. 1807 Slavery ended in Jamaica. Most formerly enslaved families received crown land to farm and left the plantations. Jamaican slave masters were largely unable to entice or coerce the formerly enslaved population back to work on the plantations. So they imported half a million Chinese men to do the work that the formerly enslaved Africans would not do. Just men no women. Black women made an industry of selling food to those men. A large mixed black and Asian population came out of those interactions they were called derisively chigros. Most were absorbed into the black and mixed race population. Which at that time numbered less than two million people. Asians would continue to migrate to Jamaica for the entire British colonial period, eventually they would would start to bring their own women and a large Chinese community would develop in Jamaica until the 1970's Today meeting Jamaicans with Chinese surnames in JA is a surprise to no one. However the ancestry detected in the genetic survey is no doubt from the half a million men who were brought to work the plantations at the end of slavery . Unfortunately this is what happens when u grow up in a not so diversse community. I'm asian that grew up in a country side town in Arkansas that was predominantly white. I had ZERO asian classmates from 4th to 6th grade.... all my time there exploring my sexuality and romantic interests has led me to solely seek out white boys...to the point that I wanted to be more white myself. Moving to Chicago in the 7th grade changed my life. My environment was sooo diverse i found myself getting attracted to other POCs like myself. Lots of decolonizing to do but it's such an amazing journey.

Every culture is unique. Filipino culture isn’t the same as Chinese culture which isn’t the same as Korean culture. But as a whole, the Asian gay man feels either fetishized or less-than. My friend would do anything to have a lifelong husband who is either an Asian national or first generation Asian American/Canadian.
What can he do to break through? He is authentic and wants these men to know he’s serious about treating them as individuals and that he’s not looking to have sensual experiences with a bunch of people who are “his type”. Despite being a white man, he would more than likely yield to their culture, He would treat them as they wanted to be treated. He is a very sexually neutral man who enjoys penetrating and penetration. He doesn’t have a type; feminine and masculine, both catch his eye. He is kind of shallow, looks matter to him but beauty is undeniably subjective no matter what society claims. However, if they’re ugly to him on the inside, he’s not going to compromise just because he shares a few interests with them and they are physically attractive.
Asian men, just know that not every white man is out there to dominate you or make you feel badly about yourself. There are white western men who could potentially have a strong connection with you and would treat you like his god.

Here I am. I am Japanese having grown up in Japan and living and working abroad for professional reasons (most likely retiring in Japan without seeking migration).
My comments : I see how poorly Western media has projected the image of Asian men (or ignored totally) to the extent of making them feel marginalised. It seems unnatural for them to be made feel "less", when looked from outsiders. It is funny that in Japan, the white men are often regarded less attractive for different reasons (associated with philosophical immaturity, lack of cleanliness and hygienic standards/ communication skills/ emotional intelligence, colonial past, and unpleasantly dominant attitudes as a sign of ignorance).
The only solution : To travel widely outside where he or she grew up to open up one's mind courageously so we can see things differently and more individually and be free from those unnaturally imposed stereotypes. This is necessary not only for the Eastners to the West and the South, but also for the Westerners to the East and the South.

Your preferences can indeed come from a place of racial bias and it can be discriminatory. There's plenty of quantitative and qualitative evidence supporting it. Your preferences aren't created in vacuum. Its mostly conditioned through predominant beauty standards that you're exposed to.
There's no one on this planet who is neurologically wired such that they can't be attracted to all individuals of a given race because there's enough variation in the said racial population than in between racial groups. That's the reason why race is called a social construct. The average person isn't exposed to the diversity of human population around the world.
So If someone rules out an entire racial/ethnic group before even interacting with/exposing to every one of them, it can only be because of aversions that operate on a different level to raw sexual attraction. If you turn a group of people into a monolith and a totality based on few traits you assume that is shared in that group, and then reject that on the basis of not liking it, then yes, that's pretty much the textbook definition of prejudice. There's no way around it.

This isn't quite true as people want to believe. There's overwhelming evidence that shows attraction can gradually build with enough positive exposure. Learn more about exposure effect. Do you seriously think everyone in a relationship stay in relationship because they are attracted to their spouses 24/7? Lol you've much to learn about relationships. People fall in love and CHOOSE to stay in love. All you need is self motivation and an open mind to find the good parts of someone that makes them attractive.
