Thank you very much! In the past, Marketing was one of many hats I've worn professionally. I would love to be able to do so again. Right now I'm searching for any "hat" I can find but in this economy all I can do is scratch my head.
Very nicely done! Enjoyed watching this. The background music sections that you added complemented the video's theme well. The "whooshing motion" of the train's name was also was very creative. Do you do marketing/ad work for a living?
@disneylandguy10 The HHP-8 is electric powered, and since the only electrified tracks are found in the Northeast Corridor, the Meteor switches between electric engines and P42 diesel powered units over the course of its journey. The P42s handle the route between Miami and Washington Union Station,
@MrCzechers If I remember correctly, the paved platform at Orlando services the two tracks closest to the station. Most of the time, Amtrak only uses the first set, though if two passing trains were to arrive in Orlando at the same time, I suppose they might use both sets of tracks. In the future, the station will also service SunRail commuter trains, so there will likely be some modifications to the existing infrastructure.
@TampaGS Thx for the info. The old Orlando station is beautiful. Could use a fresh coat of paint in a few places. Arent they gonna use Church Street Station for SunRail, too? Thats a cool station, too. Sadly, the static train display has been left to vandals.

That is great graphics! What do you use to do them?
Wow, beautiful station, but I can see that it needs some TLC.
Great video. I see a bunch of tracks at Orlando Station. How many are used by Amtrak?
(Back in the day Im sure the old ACL used em all)
I lived down there about 17 years ago. At that time I used to see CSX freight on those outer tracks.
I thought the silver meteor was pulled by an Hhp 8.
