metavision and aoi's vision are NOT the same thing. aoi's vision allows him to visualize the field while also being able to "read" the vectors of everyone on the field. metavision allows isagi to visualize the whole field from above just like aoi, but instead of seeing the players, he can see how all of them see the field in their own ways. it's much more complicated and effective than aoi's vision, having failed only twice since he started consciously using it with both times being because his own teammates stole the ball from him.

Their vision is really not much different honestly if at all. Although i think Aoi is better at seeing the whole field and isagi used it better to score his own goals obviously.
