Four kids play a game, get attacked by aliens, get helped by the same aliens, reset their game, everyone dies twice, it was the puppet all along, and the bad guy doesn't die at the end That's how I remember it
"4 kids and a dog play Jumanji. I mean, 16 kids play Jumanji. I mean, 20 kids play Jumanji. I mean, 32 kids play Jumanji. I mean, 34 kids in 33 bodies play Jumanji. All 34 kids die at least once to advance the plot. The dog does not die and it's a problem. 12 living and 1 undead kid finish the game of Jumanji."
Honestly, this one isn’t very well coordinated. The plot itself is actually pretty straightforward. There’s just lots and LOTS of lore that can sometimes be forgotten about. Seriously though, it’s not hard! The vast majority of questions were answered in full. Unfortunately, there are still some unresolved plot holes. But even they can be filled in somewhat accurately.
As someone's who's always been curious about Homestuck but never had the motivation to read it because I heard that it was so long but has been very indecisive on whether I should give it a go or not, I appreciate this video! I've been trying to find a detailed and proper summary video of Homestuck and this is perfect! Thanks for adding the captions too. I usually have a hard time listening without them. Super late to this comment, but it's not worth reading if you're an advanced reader. Most of the "heavy lifting" is dialogue among teenagers, so there's really nothing too complex or intellectually stimulating at face value. However, it's got an awesome, albeit confusing plot. Maybe not the most literarily esteemed plot, but definitely a rewarding feeling to see pieces connect. Thing is, each time a plot point connects, two new loose ends open up, or at least that's how it feels for most of the series. And to the author's credit, I've never seen a writer take on so many voices so diversely and effectively. The story features multiple narrators and dozens of characters, each with their own distinct voice, like really, really distinct. (DiFfErEnT TYP1NG STYL3S can m8ke it ,,, eASIER,,, wITH wHAT Traditional Novelism Doesn't Allow, but still.) Anyway, it's been 9 months. have you started reading Homestuck yet?
