Sakela Ubhauli || Bijayapurgadhi || Ratnachowk || Dharan || MalVika Subba

Sewaro and welcome to this new episode . We are celebrating Sakela Ubhauli in Dharan . Wishing for a bountiful harvest, no diseases, and no natural calamities, the tradition of celebrating Ubhauli Sakela for a month while moving to higher grounds to escape the summer heat is practiced. Imitating birds and animals, people celebrate Ubhauli Sakela to the rhythm of drums, singing songs that wish for the protection of the entire creation by Sumnima and Paruhang. The Sakela festival is celebrated twice a year, during Baisakh Purnima (Full Moon of April/May) when crops are sown, and during Mangsir Purnima (Full Moon of November/December) when crops are harvested. In historical Kirat regions, this festival is celebrated with prayers and rituals for a whole month during Ubhauli.
During this Ubhauli celebration, the committee members of Dharan-18 Ratnachowk honored me by placing a white turban on my head and presenting me with a symbolic token. The white turban on the head symbolizes keeping the head held high, and I felt this honor was more valuable and a greater responsibility than the crown I received as Miss Nepal.

Anilgurung noway im also from eastern part of Nepal but at presently im living in pokhara so i never feel im from eastern Nepal brother actually my beloved wife is Gurung so i never feel we are different becoz we looks same and our food habits also same our attitude is same and our pain also same and thoughts also almost same bcoz we are indigenous people of Nepal plz never think we are different and no matter eastern and western we should have tobe reunite again to make future bright for upcoming generations so let's fight for cancer of our Nation😅

When i was kid, my elder sister along other family member were watching miss nepal 2002 cheering for malvika d and they were so confident malvika subba will be the winner ....and i didn't know anything whats happening. The only thing in my head was kati bela yo show sakincha and then mero paali cartoon or something else heirnu paauchu vanera...and then malvika d crowned winner hunu vayo.....
Gharmaa purai worldcup ko jasto maahol thiyo.....malvika d is from dharan vanne jasto kura haru pani ali ali suninthyo but fact still tahachaina but dharane people were so proud of her...
