  • The municipality of T’boli is located in the hinterlands, on the southwestern portion of South Cotabato and is mainly inhabited by the T’boli and B’laan ethnic tribes. Its geography consists of rugged, rolling terrain, valleys and high slopes a top the mountain ranges. Among its treasures is Lake Holon (formerly known as Lake Maughan). The lake is nestled at the crater of Mt.Melibengoy (Mt. Parker). It was adjudged as the cleanest lake in region XII and ranked first in the 2003 and 2004 search for the Cleanest Inland Bodies of Water in the Philippines.
    Another must visit eco-tourism site when in T’boli is the Bakngeb river cave. This 4
    kilometer subterranean river is located at Barangay Laconon. This new scenic attraction is
    B’laan and T’boli tribes’ new offering to tourists. With it’s cold and crystal clear waters coming from the underground cave system you will surely fall in love with it.
    Part of every culture is its unique foods. These foods reflects its environment and preferences. For the T’bolis, native poultry has been part of their meals. Native chickens, being easy to raise, has been common to their backyards. Onuk Haklafak, is a unique T’boli dish of roasted native chicken. In Cooking Onuk Haklafak you will be needing a whole dressed native chicken and salt.
    Another chicken dish best served with Onuk Haklafak is the Onuk Nalut, another native chicken stewed in a bamboo stalk.
