Though,a couple years ago,I started getting calls from the blood bank to see if I would resume donating my O- blood again.
I reminded them of how firmly I was told to not ever attempt blood donation again & hung up.

After the show ended, a strange deal was made: Universal had concession rights at Yosemite National Park, and Yosemite needed a more modern rig. So, Universal donated the Ward to Yosemite for use as a structural engine, the LA County Fire Museum got Yosemite's 1937 Seagrave, *and* had dibs for when Engine 51 finished it's service life. Now, the Museum has both the Crown Firecoach and Ward LaFrance versions of Engine 51, as well as the Dodge dually used as Squad 51.

I mean it works on old analog electronics... sometimes (other times makes it worse), one of writers probably remembers fixing a tube TV by banging on it... human hearts work the same, right? Seriously we should always remember that all movies and television are always written by writers. So they'll lean into someone who's kinda okay with consumer tech, probably old one, has experience in using coffee maker and visiting cafes, and knows almost nothing about other professions.

There is an actual episode where a new Paramedic trainee wants to do something without permission and Roy looks at him and says "Do you want to get fired"
