Sir i have 5950x cpu, 64 gigs fast ram, rtx 4090 suprime x, in phoenix 5.1 (newest) i start basic burn fuel (and gpu prewiew on) with default preset and everything is lagging in playbackm why ?

Your free tutorials are very good and detailed, and full of very helpful info. They are simple and easy to understand. Thank you. Im more than sure that this one and other courses are very good as well, but honestly 300$ for every course is a bit too much especially during pandemic and stuff. Dont want to argue about prices, just saying. All the best and best of luck in creating awesome & creative stuff.

Hey, can you just time it and animate it to appear when you want? it doesn't have to appear on frame 0. Set the simulation start frame to whatever you need (under 'Simulation' tab)

I recommend you get Vray until they optimize corona to work with Phoenix

Just need to increase Vray samples to decrease noise, but it will take much longer. I had a lot of stuff to render out for the course so it is what it is. And thank you, let me know how it goes.

Why does my simulation disappear when I turn on GPU preview? sometimes it works, sometimes it just disappears when activated. Anybody have that happen or what am I dong wrong? I know Jesse covers it, but I can't remember in which lesson. Thanks!
It shouldn’t disappear, that’s weird and might be an issue with your graphics card / max version or something like that. Also the gpu preview ignores geometry and can sometimes look strange if there a lot of objects around the sim

It very likely can. It’s a popular misconception that you need an ultra-powerful gaming PC to run sims like this.

Unfortunately cannot. I don't have a problem with FumeFX, Blender simulations, etc., but I just can't install ChaosGroup's products, because my CPU doesn't support SSE4.2 which is required by ChaosGroup.
I'm starting to save some money on a new PC, hopefully it will be ready to the end of the year (with my income of $90/month it's not going to be easy).
Hopefully I will get some of your courses someday, because the results look good af.

Note that I almost always add some curves for contrast in after effects, as well as glow (as described in the compositing lesson in the course) to make everything pop.
