Colombia | The People Of Jericó

Why go to the beautiful town of Jericó, Antioquia? Because of its people!
During our stay at Las Cometas Hostel, we got involved in a fun mini-documentary project which involved getting to know the wonderful people of Jericó and recording our encounters with them. They shared their inspiring stories with us and their opinions of the town.
In no particular order, we met Hilberto, Matilde, Jota, Mirian, Faver, Wilman, Alberto and the firefighters. They are prime representations of the creative, hardworking, and passionate community Jericó boasts. Artists, educators, musicians, volunteers, and vendors, (just to name a few!).
If you’re ever in Colombia, you’ve got to go to Jericó for a flavour of the hospitable and enthusiastic nature of its people.
