This has been my favorite Quest with a Guest so far. Really love how in depth Dale goes into detail of his thought process while playing Emerald / Steel. Also love how tight-knit his playgroup is. It really displays the saying “Iron Sharpens Iron” ty for this episode Goons! Can’t wait for the next one
I think it’s always interesting to hear the perspectives of people coming into Lorcana, because it highlights what I love most about our community. We are welcoming, and not all of us are interested in becoming the best out there. With that said, there is space for all takes on this game. There will always be people like me who are in it to have fun and casually get better (hopefully lol) as well as the competitive crowd. Huge fan of this channel, and please keep bringing us more content! Thanks!
I played Dale in round 2 at Atlanta. Steelsong v his EmeraldSteel. He was a super class act. Great guest guys!
Always love the content. This was one of my favorite episodes. So much information for players wanting to grow and succeed and be more competitive. Keep it up!
Great episode! Really enjoyed the positive competitive talk.
Team Misplay coming for number 1 spot in Texas. :)
Can't wait!
My favorite yugioh player. This dude is the goat. I like how he says best in the world that day when you win the main stage tournament. No one can take that from you.
The way I see it, even if the TCG was to flop, because its Disney products there will always be all-things-disney collectors who would buy these cards. This is unlike other typical TCGs where if it fails the value goes out with it.
Exactly my logic. But it won't flop it's booming
I thought I'd never quit yugioh until I won something in retro formats but I'm still kinda playing that
Another great podcast gents!
Ygo is gunna be forced to increase prize support if pros keep switching like this!
Are you guys going to Canada if you don't win Fort Worth?

First from a goon
I am dropping Yugioh for Disney Lorcana. I love Disney more than Yugioh. I like the anime but not in playing real life anymore.
This episode was a pretty hard pivot from your usual content to a “win at all costs” mindset - which is fine. I hope you achieve what you’re wishing for! In my opinion, set championships are great and in fact if you’re about the $$$ well the value of the Stitch is far better than the prize wall stuff at the DLC. Sorry Set Champs aren’t enough for you any longer but it would be nice if you didn’t talk down to them as much as you did during this episode. This doesn’t really match with your normal positive personality and outlook. You are well within your rights to do whatever you wish with your channel. I’m just sharing my perspective on how the optics are from an outside point of view. I really hope the Yu-Gi-Oh toxicity stays the heck away from our game. That might be what forces people right out of Lorcana.
Im definitely to blame with the change of tone and didn't mean for it to impact people's views towards this channel. From day 1, this has been some of the most wholesome and informative content out there. With respect to organized play , there is a space for a competitive mindset that shouldn't be misconstrued as trying to win at all costs and toxicity. This channel is just highlighting the different playing levels of this game, which I believe is beautiful. From casual to championship caliber players - the base as a whole is wonderful. Appreciate your feedback but please don't let my approach to the game sour your opinions of this channel.
