By FAR the BEST video “overview/ review” of the Rekon. Spot on about the differences and the pros/cons. VERY much like the additions you have done to this rig to. Make it a little easier to use.
You never know until you ask haha! By the way... will you email our marketing manager (social@agileoffroad.com) when you get a chance? He's got something he's been meaning to send you :)
Thanks for all the info, I'm going to look at a used rekon tomorrow, that gray water solution they provide is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I'll have to give you guys a call about pricing for adding the gray water tank. The other concern is clearance for a mountain bike with the front tire off under the bed when the bed is in the down position. I don't want my bike outside while I'm sleeping. Otherwise, I like this van a lot.
The difference between Pleasure way and others, even like Airstream, is that instead of being built on an assembly line, they're build individually, in a booth. They really take their time. I'm curious if you could add a Timberline heater to it, and use it to heat up extra gray water tanks, etc, but mostly the engine, for arctic adventures. Can you still do a big brake kit on it?
Anything is possible done by the right builder! We've relocated the Timberline heater on the Revels to tie into the engine coolant system to allow for pre-heated water & engine block heating. Haven't done anything with the Rekon in that regard yet. And to answer your question... YES! The Big Brake Kit works on the Rekon.
Hi i was watching your introduction and it looks fantastic well-done work. I am not sure if understand you well but you mention that there are no liquids tanks in the lower part of the vehicle. Is the white tank near the fuel tank is the grey water tank or the drinking water tank? If I may ask one question about the location of the tank! Would placing it in the opposite side (right hand side or passenger side) might be suitable for balancing the weight of the vehicle and keeping the chance for the future owner to have space in case he needs to mount a larger fuel tank instead of mounting extra fuel tank as shown in the rear side which need more extra electrical system as shown under the driver seat? Pleas excuse the question but some times some decision need explanation to be accepted as logical decisions.
From the Pleasure-Way factory there are no tanks (other than factory fuel tank) underneath the vehicle. We added the white 20-gallon grey water tank to this build to replace the jerry can system the Rekon comes with. We do have passenger side mounted grey water tanks available. We just would need to confirm that they could be plumbed into the existing shower/sink system and drain properly (without the need for an additional water pump). The 48-gallon ACGB replacement fuel tank we carry would require the entire driver side undercarriage be free from accessories to fit. However the S&B 47-gallon tank is no wider than the factory tank and would fit on the Rekon with or without aftermarket grey water tanks added. Hope that answers your questions. Please don't hesitate to contact our sales team directly with any further questions (info@agileoffroad.com).
@@Agileoffroad Thank you very much for your kind answer taking time for giving me the answer. actually, i am interested to modify the system on a Hymer MLT 580 4X4 which will be exported next year to Canada and then we are driving the pan Americana and during our stay in California i am planning to make some modification on the vehicle to replace the 93 diesel Tank (24 Gallo) in a bigger one and make adjustment to the suspension for our long journey. I will keep in touch once I know more about our schedule.
Why not supplying it with the Truma C73 (additional 13 Liters) instead of the C60?! They both have the same length and width, except the C73 is slightly higher. And according to Truma the C73 draws 0.1amp less than the smaller C60 - the price difference is only $150.- Also, it should come with the insulation cover which Truma offers for $140.- this would add to efficiency and protection.
Great video, thanks for sharing. The Rekon is a lazy mans design build at a super profit. They could have offered so much more at that price-point and still kept the functionality. I use a chest fridge in my 144 and on a slide in the doorway, not sure why they mounted it high as for all the reasons you mentioned. Love your work though on all the platforms and BTW, is that hidden winch and bar avail for the NCV3?
The Hidden Winch was originally designed for the NCV3 chassis and IS still available! The Ferrata light bar is for VS30 chassis only. However we do have other lighting solutions available for your vehicle.
@@Digitalcriminal77 Diesel cheaper than propane, easier to find on the road, it's a one stop as far as fueling your coach. The system I have (Able heater) use both electric when your plugged in or diesel when your boondocking. The diesel heat in my case is a floor radiant heat which is quiet and efficient. Diesel heat also lets you pre heat your diesel engine. I guess if I had a gas coach, I wouldn't favor diesel heat, but I would miss all the benefits associated. Hope this gives you some other options.
John is one anxious little dude, as a long term sufferer of generalised anxiety disorder I recognise the symptoms and as a qualified medical doctor I recommend 20mg of citalopram hydrobromide once a day to take the edge off 👍
I like all the tanks inside using jerry cans for Canadian winters its a great idea.
Best rekon I've seen yet. Amazing vans!!!!

Always a nice visit with Agile. Can’t wait to bring our Transit 350 AWD once we finally get it and build out the inside.
So great! Thank you for the inspiration! Gonna be building a home on wheels, this vid was super informative keep rockin!
I really like it, using made in America materials!
Fat chance PW would loan a vehicle but nice try John. Great overview. The biggest negative for me is the cassette toilet followed by the chest fridge.

Could post a photo of where you located the switch for the lp9’s? Thanks.
We wire the LP9s to a factory MB (high-off-low) dash switch!
Cost.?

When would you have that Ferrata front light bar available?
AO FERRATA Light Bar is available here on our website: agileoffroad.com/product/ferrata-light-bar/

it's actually much cheaper than a Revel or Airstream. Better quality, too.
So HOW MUCH did all the Agile OffRoad Mods cost? Taxes included of course!
Looks like they are not going to tell us. I'm sure it was a lot. But the client is from California. That explains it!

Why no diesel heat…..
Why is it better exactly?

Appears to be very expensive?
site says $175,000.

U guys need more better on this Van!!!
Why get a Rekon and then get a grey tank 😂😂
