I have said it before and I ‘ll say it again Weekend Update posted in it’s entirety is the very best thing about Monday morning. Humor flows so smoothly. This one was truly hilarious

@@bwcastillo last week’s show, other than the cold open and Weekend Update was truly devoid of humor. I never saw anything that host was in, she did try to be funny, but that was the worst show in recent memory

Growing up in the 80s, historically, my favorite Weekend update anchors were Dennis Miller and Norm McDonald. I think I like Colin and Michael's material just as much.
Yeah the rest of the episodes are mostly awful as we are going through the worst cast of all time, but Weekend Update is usually pretty solid.
@@sratus I think there's great people in the cast. But I think they took a major hit when they lost Kate McKinnon. Writing has always been hit or miss in the almost 40 years I've been watching. Though I did have less interest the last 2 years. The Adam Driver episode earlier this season was one of the funniest in a long time

At 9:45 when Colin delivers his line you can hear one lady in the crowd scream WAY TOO LOUD and someone near a mic soflty whispered "Jesus Christ"

My favorite moment is at 9:25 when Sarah Sherman gets a look at her next cue card and needs a moment. 😀

I have watched this 3 times already, she is hilarious every time she gets on the weekend update but I think this one is my favorite. The camera cut scenes were amazing and jost just couldn't stop laughing.

I have to admit ~ it took me a while to warm up to Sarah Sherman but I slowly began to appreciate her and her unique sense of quirky/zany/loud sense of humour and presence. She’s brought something COMPLETELY new and refreshing to SNL that can’t be duplicated and when the writers give her something decent to work with (they ABSOLUTELY HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK with this Hall of Fame-quality sketch) I’m in hysterics. Colin Jost was at his best and those 2 have a dynamic that’s so fun to watch. This had better be a recurring sketch!!
I'd love to see them take this skit farther. They're hilarious together and play off each other so well! More CJ Rossitano please!
