Love this update about your fave foundations! I was just watching your “glowy natural makeup” video and was wondering what you’ve been up to lol! I’d love to see a video like this on your top fave concealers AND blushes!!!
these are pretty but i honestly think you look prettiest without anything lol i ended up buying the Ilia one for special occasions. thanks for this info :)
Hey Alba, I loved this video! I think the ILIA looked the best and most natural on you. I definitely will be giving them a try. Looking forward to your next video XOXO
Thank you so much for representing clean makeup on WOC. Please do more demos for Ilia and Exa beauty products! I'm switching to all-clean makeup products and I can't find any recent videos of WOC using full face clean products. 😞 I went in for the Ilia concealer and the Honest beauty blurring powder, and they're amazing but I'm curious about the exa foundation now. 😅
hi ! Thank you for the vid although I no longer wear foundation I find the vid super helpful. It's good to see other people struggle with their problem areas, it gives us people in the dark with acne and acne scar issues a little more confidence.
The westman atelier foundation is my fave too for full coverage but for lighter coverage I love the EXA foundation. No I couldn’t imagine making a DIY foundation myself. I’m not at that level.
Hola Hermosa! Thank you for gracing us with your beautiful face. I've missed you. So happy for this video. Hope you, your babies, and family have been doing well. Much Love 💚
Hello Alba, just wanted to say that silk face masks are best to avoid maskacne. That' all I wear with my sensitive, dry acne prone skin and I haven't had any acne ever since. Make sure the mask is double layered though or it has an area for filters though! Hope it helps... hugs and kisses.
Great video! The right pronunciation of Westman Atelier is “ah-tell/tuh-lee-ay “ hope that helps! I’m French Canadian (it means “studio” a place where any form of art takes place). You are gorgeous! Blessings 🥰
This info was right on time..I was about to ask u for some clean foundation recommendations...Thank you bunches. BTW, It’s been a while since you’ve shared your Skin care routine, would love to see what clean products you’re using these days. Also, would love some suggestions for powder foundations for those quick, light makeup days, Again thank you so much,
Hey! I haven’t tried that one yet from 100% pure but I’ve tried others from this brand in the past but none of them ever stuck with me or seemed good enough to wear again. I have been talking to the brand behind the scenes about me possibly helping develop a better color range and formula but hopefully one day I can help them on that because I truly love the brand and see it’s potential for better shade range and coverage.
@@Mrs.AlbaRamos Yes!!! Please do! I love 100% Pure and have a good amount of their stuff but their shade range...girl! lol It would be amazing if you do get that opportunity because someone needs to fill that need of helping them represent more shade ranges. I literally have the 2nd skin foundation in my cart but Im hesitant to make the purchase because I already know the shade wont work right. Hey why not hope for a collab with them Alba!! Another great oil, a lippie, a bronzer, girl anything that has your stamp on I would be confident to use!
In the title you put for brown skin... do you reccommend these for all skin shades ? I've been really wanting to get more into natural makeup, glad you made this.
Yes, these brands are for all skin complexions but I emphasized on brown skin in the title because there's obviously a large gap of availability within the brown shades in the clean beauty brands. Us brown girls struggle to find a good match in the small variety of shade options we have while lighter shades and fair skin is commonly available in both clean and conventional beauty brands. So I never have to emphasize that these brands are catering to lighter skin shades too since the only shades without many options is brown skin. Throughout this video I also show the full color range available for each brand I mentioned so everyone sees all the shades they carry and how many.
I don’t suffer from acne but I have oily skin and the ilia didn’t work for me, the RMS has too much coconut oil so it’s a pass. I would like to try Exa but it’s expensive here in the UK
What’s the lasting power and performance of these foundations during the course of the day? Especially in hot temperatures. Do you get oily after a while? Does it fade, break up, get patchy, etc after a while?
Each person would have a different experience based on their own skin type and weather environment. So I wasn’t reviewing each one to answer that because I can’t generalize that answer as a whole. But... how you prime and set your foundation is key to making it last as long as it’s potential meets. I personally do not wear liquid or cream foundation in summer weather at all. I don’t like the feeling of any foundation and if I ever do wear foundation in summer it’s always powder foundation. I have a video on my summer makeup wearing powder foundation. 3 of these foundations featured have the exact same lasting power for me with primer and setting powder. The only one that I’d have an issue with oiliness with is the RMS foundation. This one requires powder touch ups throughout the day and blotting because it’s a full coverage cream formula and thicker. All the others I’ve only had to blot lightly mid day wearing it. But I have combination/dry skin, depending on your skin type this could be more or less of an issue.
@@Mrs.AlbaRamos thank you soo much! This was really nice and informative! I’ll take this into consideration! As usual I can always count on you to point me in the right direction! I’m from the Caribbean and I know weather here is a lot different so I was just asking 🙌🏽👌🏽
Thank you for doing this video, as a woman of color it is extremely hard to find another woman of color testing clean beauty
Omg it is i want to start wearing clean makeup but man its not easy….
Alba’s skin without foundation is already goal 😍 btw Atelier is a French word :) Love from France xoxo

I absolutely love Westman Atelier’s stick foundation
I loved the last one 😍 Even without setting it your skin looked amazing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ENJOY!
I love that last foundation the best on you. Have you ever considered making your own diy clean foundation?
The westman atelier foundation is my fave too for full coverage but for lighter coverage I love the EXA foundation. No I couldn’t imagine making a DIY foundation myself. I’m not at that level.
@@Mrs.AlbaRamos you are Alba, you came out with your own beauty oil which is a great product and seller.
Great seein U again...U look Amazing 💃

Eu gostaria de ouvir os teus vídeos mas em espanhol. Entretanto aproveito pra a prender um pouco mais de inglês. Gosto dos teus videos
Thanks for sharing...🌈
Hey Alba! Do you know the brand Kosas?? It's clean and they have many shades but I haven't tried yet.

Hey Alba,
Any comments on the Blissy Pillowcase?
Do you have recommendations for cleaner non toxic perfumes please
you're so beautiful - you hardly need much makeup
Hey Alba!! Always enjoy seeing videos from you!! What do you think if 100% pure 2nd skin foundation?

Could you do a video on plastic free makeup? I would love to see that ☺️

What did you use to set the EXA foundation?
I used the same setting powder on all of them. It’s linked in the info bar also.
Deeply wondering what your opinions are on Crunchi. Cleanest foundation out there right now and you haven’t addressed it. 😘
Are there any issues with transfer? I ask because with more natural/clean foundations I’ve had a lot of issues with transfer.
I love those last 2 on you. It really looks like you're not wearing foundation at all 😊
Love from France Ramos family 💖☀
I love the hashtag haha!
Are you still using any of these ?
She so pretty she didn’t even need foundation 🥲
Too bad that all have coconut oil in them the only clean foundation I can use is the Sephora clean glowing foundation I really love it and it’s cheap
Yes coconut oil is fatal for acne
Apparently the rms beauty line uses coconut oil that doesn’t make you break out. Look into that to see if it works for you.
Yes we have great skin without make up
Who else remembers her as sunkissalba? ❤️😀
Westman Atelier = Ah-Tuh-Lee-Ay
You don’t need foundation…perfect skin, but thanks for the video!
sun ☀️ kisses alba
Uh-ti-lee-aye
These foundations are soooo expensive 🤯
Lmfao you need bronzer? Your skin is amazing! You need nothing. Super beautiful!
These are not clean beauty foundations one of them has silicone in it and the next one has alcohol in it
